Post by Arcadia » September 16th, 2012, 10:14 am

It´s one of the films present in the festejo of one more year of the public cinema "El Cairo". First Aki´s film I saw, loved it! :)

Here some related notes on the film and an entrevista to his director:

I´ll find out if he has ever filmed in his native tongue.

Another visit to the planet Aki
In the Normandy town of Le Havre appears abandoned a container with African refugees, one of whom police chases. And, through neighborhood solidarity, Kaurismäki let hope prevail desire at all costs.
I have not been able to find it English version, but this one with subtitles,

Sounds like just the kind of movie I need to watch today.
thanks
