Appeal for the Hindu

Post by sweetwater » February 20th, 2015, 11:21 am

Appeal for the Hindu
addressed to British and other Christian foreigners residing in India ...
Published 1845 by American Mission Press in Madras .
Written in English.

...

The first impression relates more to the art and colour of the book
or the jacket of words ... i liked the design and colour
rationalization ... so i ventured further into the what lays beneath
such a beautiful design

a merchandising dilemma in the context of
how words relate whether you can't judge
a book by its cover cliche

or it might be a better read for when you become an elder
who happens to be living in India and musing
over the lack of bookstores available or internet access
and this is about all you can afford in the context
of availability

...

one would have to read it in fact
as it has been much this way for centuries

as for advice

India is a very interesting afternoon
for someone interested in travelling
and far away places
