I saw the film in a cinema with some friends this night. Last thursday the director was in Rosario in the presentation of the film with a posterior debate. Great film, very moving. It´s a documentary about the social movements since 2001. Good for understand the piquetero´s movement (among others) and its context.

what is what?

piquetero = unnemployed people that cut the streets and highways as a form of reclamo and protesta. They piquetero´s way began during the Menem government in places such Jujuy, Salta and the Patagonia where state empresas were sold or closed and thousands of people lost their jobs.
A friend told me that her grandmother read in the Readers Digest that piqueteros are one of the things that most bother argentinians. I didn´t know that the Reader Digest still exists!
Now there are different piquetero´s movements, some of them fall in love with the actual government, others not.

nadie(s) = no-considered-persons = los ninguneados= the ones that the system abused and still resist and fight

This is a film about Argentina also being shown in Argentina, a reality bite. Glad to see this is happening. It gives me hope.
Thenks for your help in understanding lo que pasan con los piquetero´s movimiento.

Why would anybody or nadie like the government if it closes down state enterprises and gives them the street?

Histories and moving testimonies of the social resistance in Argentina showing the unemployment and the hunger produced by the model of globalization. They are stories of solidarity, small counted epics by their protagonists, anonymous heroes with collective proposals that conquered the desertion, reconstructing the hope.

I like this, "small counted epics by their protagonists."
