I read the book more than twenty years ago and I'm re/reading it because I didn't remember much of it and it's in the programme of a kid I'm helping to study. Funny but soooo looong...!!!!!!!!!

maybe if i faced a hundred years of solitude, i would get around to reading this book. but, i haven't the time for long novels. only the Bible.

yes, it's tooo looong!. You can find a synopsis in the web, but it's not the same. With the kid we used both the synopsis and the book. We read together the four first chapters, then we continue reading the synopsis per chapter and search in the book only the parts we wanted to read directly. At the same time we did a big arbol geanologico mixed with the most important sucesos in Macondo. We laugh a lot!.
