You?
If so, tell us a little about it.

me. over 100,000 words in i think. something like that. most of it will end up being cut, but thats the first thoughtful draft. my problem is - it started out as 80 percent fiction, 20 percent nonfiction. i'm thinking of changing it to 20 percent fiction, 80 percent nonfiction.
these things stop the overall view of the book. but once i'm done typing here, i'll be back upstairs working on writing something.

I am working on a novel called Finnegan's Wake.
It's a plagiarization of the text of Ulysses.
I am also working on a project that I'm titling Sex in the City. It's a King James Bible with cover torn off, replaced by the cover of Candice Bushnell's trashy novel-stories collection.

a novel's about as relevant an art form as the epic poem.
Who's writing an opera in Latin or German, to be staged in New York City?
Marisa

I've written and just published one, called
Marisa. It is ostensibly about first love, but as a fairly insistent subtext it explores the changing relationship between men and women over the last thirty years or so with the advances in feminist critique. It's available on Amazon, and you can find out more about it here,
www.centrehousepress.co.uk and here,
www.myspace.com/petercowlam -- it gets a very good critique from Jennifer Armstrong, who reviewed it.

Wonderful, Peter! Congratulations. The book looks interesting. How does it feel to be 'after'?
