it's funny
after all that buildup to discovery
now more empty than ever
yet not completely empty
it's like my gaping inside cavern
is aware of the big picture
and wants to live unknowing
what comes next
just living clear looking for openings

hello again
i come in peace
i hold you up in the light of history
a daughter of judeah
the mother of jesus
who we have systematically rejected
because of an irrational intellect
faulted by the pre-existing pathos we gentiles posessed
as fallen men we surrounded you at all sides
ever since the beginnings of the book
saved as the word before it was recited
sacred mystery verse made that way on purpose
excalibur the mother of thhe first people was from before war

in our beginning we witness the mystery scene
and the prejudicial views that haunt us with fear
and doubt and the patriarchial malady
and these things are calculatingly irrational
from a rational being who was before
with our mothers and fathers living the natural way
human beings always lived before the sword
in awe of the woman who posessed them
and they were stronger and better men
who were made love to more often
than we are we men who posses our women
still at their bequest may as well try to kiss a wall or a block
but blocks and walls don't smile they never lie
goth women are frigid cold and sad mad
goth men keep them in disguise
as white pretty wives christian and well bred
tis a lie we're all goths always were the killers of the old way westward killing the mother clans wherever we found them
until we came to th end
at th rhine
and got the prejudicial message of the kidnapped baby jesus from rome
our imperial savages to the south, who conquered our vandal predecessors
in gaul and iberia and they made love

and so your mothers' message came to the african american people and they took it up
rationally so
and knew jesus as glory yes
but read the covenant right
and are now the most progressive people consistently so
jesus is a soul man

the koran is lucid and non prejudicial
it is also cursed by the peoples who took it up
and their pre-existing social cultural prejudices
poly theist patriarchy i am telling you
came into islam when the first woman leader was assassinated
the sunnis killed her
the shihites loved her
but patriarchy is still dominant in both realms
however the shihite side that loved the woman leader
is where the most progressive women's movement of equality exists
under the boot but alive with the political progressive revolution under seige

so your relationship into this is clear
judeah and palestine are the hoped for end game
whatever the names your political boundaries are
no matter
this is the peaceful possibility
under the gun of the other outcome disaster for us all
there is no inbetween
and so we go for a rational win:win scenario
israel is here now and must be here now in perpetuity
surrounded by muslim lands in guarded peace until people evolve some more
especially men

take the edge off the edgyness

hamas is culturally backward, just not backward enough
so going forward we return

women in hamas have got to stop them from this domination
women in israel have got to stop likud from its pathological madness
tel aviv wants everybody to know what christians, meaning goths romans and slavs,
did to jews there's no forgetaboutit
there's make the connection with a barbarian charger ma'am
who knows the blessing and suffering your ancestors have gone through

since the beginning your people have never known peace
fighting to get home then to stay there then being overrun and cast out
then to come back again and again be overwhelmed and cast out
now home again under seige not from islam, but from muslim men
tho they protected you before from christian roman hordes

take the edge off the violence first
both sides
likud and hamas
then an emasculization of hamas and likud needs to happen :)
moron this later amen

always fascinating to hear your insights, jim

being here now
can't do much about others
can hardly do something about myself
sense of humour and trying to get clearer
that's my take

I tried to get clear once. I was told that such a place did exist somewhere up ahead. So I rolled on up over the hill and had to turn on all my lights because of the fog.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

yes we can feel small and insignificant
in our village faw away from anyone important
but a moment of clarity is not small nor insignificant
the way forward is keeping things real and not knowing

last week i made 2 calls 1 on thurs radioactivity 1st caller 1 on true talk 1st caller
this week i made 2 calls thurs and friday same shows, last caller both days

http://www.wmnf.org/program_strips/353 radioactivity 06/24/2010
the second half a guest was an Israeli a military veteran who is involcved as an administrrator executive for some peace program, but his bent is actually stressing rationality. I told him that the impasse between the Iseraelis and Hamas needed to be deescalated by empowering women on both sides to talk to the male leaders and drill a bit of rationality intom them. I asked him if he had heard of anything like this. He told me and radioland that there is an Israel film (?) about a village Palestinian where a young woman had organized a protest, blocking a bulldozer with a group of women behiond her, then the villagers. He said she made the Israelis move back that section of border wall to keep the village together. Then she organized the village women into a militia. Now she has organized women's militias across Palestine. This is very good, and I told him so. He says he is very encouraged by this as well, because empowering women means a return toward a more baklanced rationality, reason.

So you don't need to feel poweerful. Surviving, growing, developing, affirming is enough. BUt you should feel empowered that your intellect is capable and not to be disrespected as a woman.

I figured out Kwan Yin was a holy woman in China out ot the indigenous peoples who became the Chinese. Her gesture of support while maintaining a strong center is the same as Eve's in the garden before the fall. She was the light of the Tao. She was the earliest one, related to perennial truth from the origins of human life.

Buddha came along, he escaped from the polythiesism and corruption of scripture into the clarity of being beyond irrational thought.

Then came the Book lived, spoken first as the Word, from mystery into mystery, over two or three thousand years, struggle and trouble at all sides, evolving a faith and a better way, the scriptures were here long before we came along rational enouggh to be disillusioned. This was the firstr step into a transcendent understanding, more logical. But the mystery remains. I am certain that the way forward is through a peacemaking effort and a guarded cautious building of trust, as is happening in Palestine and you must move on this awareness.

The women in Gaza are probably voiceless. It would be a welcome sign for women to gain empowerment there and really now I am seeing the way forward. Very clearly, knowing rationality is important, and believing that.

http://www.wmnf.org/programs/256 truetalk 06/25/2010 scroll to the end last minute i made a 30 second appeal for the intended clarity of islam, rationality, with ethics and morals, and goodwill, followed with a remark, "thazz how we are spozed to act in the world and anothjer, we haven't got there yet"

When we have been able to overcome our limited individual perspectives, the last prophet holy woman will come, Mietreia.

Keep doing practice in this light. Know that oportunities for building up others for resilience, and keeping peace inside is a start. As fas as Gaza goes, I would say just visualise the women there going thriough changes, because it's not their religion that is imprisoning thenm, it's the men.

Getting clear, know the way, trust in the Unknown.

one woman does not a movement make, but she begins a movement, and yes, how right you are that women's rights amongst the palestinians are highly suppressed as are many rights of many people when the hamas are in power.

We've seen it before in Israel. Poor communities are promised things like cheap kindergartens and weekly dinners by the right-wing religious parties, and there you have it - votes!

People are swayed by their bellies. Hamas control the food supply (including the supplies sent by Israel). How many women can look beyond their hungry children to think politics? this is a vital question.

That's why change is so very slow. Daily reality takes precedence over ideals.

in my case, a little reality goes a long way. Thanks for your thoughts, jim. will listen to the show after school.

have a good week

no problem, it's funny, when i got thru with all of this i got empty again
just like before except now there's a difference

i can affirm you being there, judih, just where you should be
i can affirm israel being there just where youall should be
i can affirm israel being surrounded by muslim lands
I can affirm youall will discover the way together
and you will be cautiously optimistic and be open for signs

now getting over the pathos of being jewish in israel
now getting over the pathos of being jewish in the world
you took up the lighted lamp, you created insight
you lived the story, made goodwill your covenant
and my prayer is still working on the wall.

a prayer placed in a crevice in a Wall
is there forever
long past the paper's life
it soaks into the stone
spreads into the pavement
touches the hearts
of all who touch the Wall
DNA to DNA
long process, but optimistic

now i got to hang on to my new territory
seems like i was here long ago
hanging on while unknowing more
new openings will happen
we can bring this into a crux
the israeli general will face his impasse
looking back and all around
gaza was always here
we know their idea of god
i love that idea because of goodwill
can't explain why they will become humble
their ethos will turn over their pathos
not like solomon in jerusalem
why he had to slather gold all over
that wondrous temple of stone and cedar?
what gives? pathos over ethos?
some wise guys forget how they got to fame
that will never be my problem
one way or the other it's a return to humility
that centering touch beyond new empowerment
as i become vulnerable to tears
while rewiring tapes moving onward unknowing
true talk the next wave into blues songs
going on through all the way living and cultivating
let's have a bumper crop of women rising in gaza
getting mean with their men's weenies
forgetaboutit frustration's set in
we wanna cry alone and watch the moon
and get wasted
oh no way
discipline is always here lurking about ethos is stout
pathos is only the temptation to fear
don't gotta wear it no more
and so we toss it off and get ready for the jewel mines
acoustic abyss where all sound implodes upon itself
into primal screammmmmmmmmmm embraced and made real
all the while a soft breeze floating hopes
pinned on a trace of paper in a crack above old men nodding heads
the creative act of new sound files into celestial heart caves
goodwill determination renewed the serpintine trace of being

in that rhapsody of religious metaphor
lurks a grain of simple truth
value of human life
finding humour in insanity
looking for like-minded searchers
a little frivolity in the midst of horror
a small melody between the gasps
from note to note
a link of helium light minds
rising above

i make a sentiment known
words are to clarify
more and more
more able
less cain
a man with a bible told me i can sing
a man with a koran walked into an orchard
somewhere
somewhere where some clarity remained
a woman began to feel worthwhile
a child felt loved
the buddhist had enlightenment
someone wanted to give up
and failed
being free
found life in a space between
doubt and certainty
not knowing finding out
what it is

just a singing a soft tune
tralalada bebopdoowapshu
down at the crossroads
one more time feeling like
nobody's fool no more
i ain't nobody's fooooooool!
