You know I am a pacifist, I don't play war no more, I don't try to decide which side is more right or wrong, I don't play Stratego anymore either, I don't think about what should be done. I just hope and pray for peace.

I make my small sick jokes hoping it might distract you for a while.
Take your mind off it for a little while at least.

maybe israel should just do tit for tat
when a missile comes in from gaza
israel should mark where it comes from
and fire a missile back

this would give the palestinian population
some longer time to go into their bomb shelters
than the fifteen seconds the israeli population has to hide
but otherwise a restrained satyagraha

i was already called a "whack" for suggesting
on radioactivity thursday
a ground war to liberate gaza from hamas
without the air war or long range artillery
to treat gaza as a hostage situation
i am fuming mad
at the satyagraha kid
i feel the hurt
where i am at
visualizing healing
i draw the hurt into me
while the rockets fly
an th bombs burst
in schoolyards
in shards
Image
been followinh the gaza bizz judih
kibbutz nir-oz
just an approximate location marked on th map
actually i think it's more to the south
close to egypt too
surrounded by glorious large fields
total oz, man, a green city of several hundred
and take a road south then west a ways
straight into the armistice line
and gaza
where you will see a patchwork quilt
of humble fields and
humble buildings
of clay brick
and cities of the same drab gray
Image
i offerred a structured way for israel to occupy gaza
without the air war or artillery
to treat gaza as a hostage situuation
and proceed into the areas where their missiles are
with tentative yet insistant force
and to enhance that with humanitarian aid to "liberated" areas
hamas free
an was called a whack
by th satyagraha dude
radioactivity wmnf 01/08/2009
i forgave him already

oy vey
i'm on my way
see ya at th wailing wall

is there an alternative to either satyagraja or war?

i support israel in this war on hamas.
but the airstrikes are not helping if they hit innocents enmasse as has been reported, never mind that hamas uses civilians as martyrs to enrage the wider middleeast.

satyagraha is more appreciated by the jews than by islam.

because if hamas practiced non-violence, they would have peace, openness, prosperity.

if israel practices non-violence, it will perish.

so there is no other way, beyond a precautionary advance by the israeli army into hamas land.
i'll cyber pray at the wailing wall!

yes, the problem of practising non-violence with those who see that as weakness is a real problem.

We practised 'non-violence' for these past 7 years of having rockets tossed out way. Mostly kibbutzniks round here and we're not used to shrieking out loud. So, the country put us aside on the list of priorities.
The people of Sderot are the ones who made so much noise that finally notice was brought.

I cannot begin to describe the fact that the Hamas mindset is so totally foreign to western thought (although you've mentioned the fact that it's part of their survival to use citizens for protection, both in propaganda use and in physical shielding).

There's been no school here since dec 23rd and i was hoping that things would stabilize enough to get things back to normality, but that's not happening just yet.

My kids aren't home. I've been using the time to make some puppets for use as therapy, and to attend a conference on how to help victims of trauma. This will have to be a new avenue in my life - how to get more tools to deal with trauma.
We're all traumatized.

thanks for this, jim

As an American Jew, I don't know what more I can do to support the Israeli government. I wish they could come up with smarter politicians. Where is your Obama?

All that matters to me is that you are ok
And that this war will end
Like you said we are all absolutely unique
But some of us got to live in Israel
And others don't

I believe in your right of return.

All I got to offer you are these words

I am hoping the war will be over.
You know what a jerk I am j
I think both sides have blown opportunities for peaceful resolutions. It is Holy Land, on that we all agree, but that don't make Ariel Sharone King David. Is he still alive I hope so?

I am glad you have a Zen practice going, or something like it.
I don't know how you do it.

Take your mind away I suppose.

All I care about is you.

beautiful night here in new berlin tx
full moon
I can see the sky for a change.

15 been soup
and baby sitting three dogs and two kittens.
Listening to Christian Broadcast Channel
Rabi Somebody speaking to a Christian group about the sixth commandments. and error in translation from the hebrew. for the words kill and murder.

Rabi said tthe ten commandments are the ten utterances not commandments. There are actually 613 commandments he say.

I been saving up money for my bar mitvah, never had one.ain't that a kick, sixty eight years upon my head and I am still a boy.

good night from new berlin
I hope you got some sleep last night
She is twice the man I am.

very sweet texas, you an kinky both must be at peace tonite

don't negate yourself you know a lot of what is in the path to learn how to be sane, regarding war and peace
you would have fought adolph
this is no guernica, where the german planes bombed an innocent town with no threat to nobody's peace
they did it to experiment on the destructive capability of their new bombers
those types you want to fight even if you don't want to but you get pissed in a reasonable way

judih, this latest deal with hamass has brought this ham ass to terms with the need to fight sometimes
even when we don't want to

and so when i call in next to radioactivity
i will tell them this about iz real an ham ass
israel and hamass
that the kibbutzniks really have lived the satyagraha life
and it wasn't good enough for peace
so when hamass started throwing missives at Sderot, then the izzies got piping mad
course i will say it straight

hamass is a gang of authoritarian machissimo radical religious zealots who maintain a grip on a drowning people as the only way that they can stay in power/ it is now their endgame and now the attack must be relentless upon them until they agree to stop the stupid and irritating and angering missiles or they are brutally finished, even after this gaza needs to be in a lockdown for a good while until an internal security apparatus allied with the palestinian authority can be well established

hamass, they are the same kind of threat as al qaida, hezbollah ( the shiite version) and the other schools of radical terrorist zealots spawning in pakistan and kashmir, not to mention afghanistan and the resurgent taliban. these are all the same stubborn absurd dysfunctional groups and they are a cancer upon world progress
how to beat cancer? divide and conquer, a la chemotherapia

i was called a crank because i professed that israel needs to seperate the people of gaza from hamass, but it is what the israeli military offensive is attempting to do

sometimes one has to resist war for its unnecessary insanity, as in vietnam and iraq, and the other neocolonial wars amerika engaged in,
sometimes one has to support such horrible aggression as to seem schitzoid and inconsistant

carry on
build puppets
heal yourself
you have a place there
israel has to not only survive, or to go beyond the thriving it already does now, it has to be a shining light for peace and prosperity and progress in the middle east

if israel suppresses hamass and control is returned to the palestinial authority, without relinquishing security control, the people of gaza can be healed somewhat, make puppets for their young, build their strip of mediterranian beachfront property into a jewel, as with the west bank
with its wall of security to stop suicide bombers, who now have opportunities to live, and so on

there are concessions israel needs to make, like the west bank settlements, but not relinquishing the golan heights for awhile until after syria's renaissance would be a good idea

suddenly to join you in your kibbutz in the south near gaza
i did not know this before
your reply to my ptsd poem from the start of the iraq war as i sloughed thru a terrible depression, i did not know how you knew my state, but it was more than trauma, it was a seperation and alienation from my own country that plagued me along with the traumatic visceral heightened awareness, a speed freak on a permanent downer

i have left the fog of disillusionment to have a sense of awareness about my past and where i stand now as an anti-war veteran and a citizen

it's amazing
i never felt better
sort of a gestalt becoming
an epiphany

you are quite welcome
now i go to sleep back from the jewel mine

ya'll ain't alone over thar no more
be well
be healed in this moment and for always

and with that, jim takes his rest (well-deserved) and my heart starts finding a more relaxed rhythm.
the booms today are a reminder that this isn't yet over.
It's a good time to re-group within, find some inner peace. t'ai chi is only tomorrow night, so today i'll need to do a little inner oasis exploration.

Maybe the storks will be back and I'll be able to shoot some photos of their formations (saturday i forgot to bring my camera)

good day/night to all

nice expanded tai chi
we do the basic 108 moves
magnificent
there is also a sword class on sundays
i dig the single whip
so does my acetabulum

i had spoken out last week on radioactivity
will post the url audio
this morning at 845 my gestaltic satori passed
i got a text message from 1-724-322-7763
  • good morning
    BITE THE DUST!
Image
so i called the t-mobile company and listed the call and complaint
i don wanna be among that number
when th martyrs go marchin in
now gonna trace th number it's in uniontown pennsylvania
paid 4.95 an will get th info
 got th private eyes rollin
i'm not paranoid
i had to delete all content from my cell phone,
video an pics, relating to
th old ogden nash poem
  • pott is nott
videos of me drunk with my stepson
smoking a doobie

photo shots of joints in my yellow translucent dice roach clip
next to the backyard buddha
shots of alarge bud shaped like axmas tree
placed in front of an old xmas card with cloth print
stars and angels with large eyes
another of the pipe and lighter in the sand at th beach
all self incriminating wazoolie purged

gonna call in to radioactivity tomorrow
will email a question to rob
"have you heard of 'selective conscientious objection'"

an maybe get a chance to call in

the wack call wounding is what compelled me into the gestalt
you have to be wounded to go forward

i upped my monthly contribution to wmnf radio
on the mini-marathon
rob mentioned my name on air
"j w is a vietnam veteran, a frequent caller
(to radioactivity), and a participant in the forum,
he's upped his monthly pledge with the circle of friends, thanks jim!"

actually i hadn't called for a good while
just lately
seems like i like to get in last licks at the end of every year
and this current deal with israel and hamass propells me forward
into a new gestalt

so i will call next open forum
and proceed from that last quaking quavering moment
when the heavy weight of that intended violence
upon the palestinians in gaza
was weighed as just
with trepidations
and more quavering

and now the quavering has settled

i know the difference between a neo-colonialist war
and a military action, war, for survival and terminal peace

hopefully, as the soldiers proceed, and as survival wars proceed,
the numbers of innocents killed will be lessened
as diplomacy and understanding and tolerance advance

i'm talking about the usa's attack on panama city to get noriega
we saturated the neighborhood around his headquarters
with artillery and gunship fire with many innocents killed
for nada
as noriega slipped away and was nabbed in a police action later on
estupido
now he's in miami in jail, kool but why the heavy boot upon the people :?:

we need to take things to the next level

better acuity with military actions
and better diplomacy with creative bargaining
meanwhile the kibbutzniks will live in peace

I been listening to as much news as I can stand. Confirmation hearing for hillarious.
the buzz word going around DC is "smart power" apparently people were drawing the wrong conclusion from "soft power"

I believe in J's right of return jimbo
The Palestinians paid some dues for that land too

Going to be a hard nut to crack.

Listening to a Palestinian man lament the death of five of his ten children.

And what I think are Palestinian women being chosen for? Brood mares in a Holy War?

sad indeed, the hamas leader with four wives and numerous children
all locked into this absurd cul-de-sac
and i'm not talking about the physical gaza strip
i meAN as you seem to imply
a stupid patriarchy
and i mean stUpid

still i am wondering, how come the overkill?
superpowers always do that
we had shock and awe into badghad twice

and so on
trail of tears not forgotten
nor sojurner truth

they smuggling again contraband
and i find it's only eight miles and 15 kilometers
bordered with egypt
what gives?

well i had more war comments on the "culture" scroll,
hamass' end game
blood and jihad
they will be defeated

http://www.democracynow.org/2009/1/22/e ... el_ignored

democracy now interviews the ham ass leader in exile
of course
well hosted in damascus

but he is irrational

smart power not smart enuf without stopping the ham assed impulse to smuggle in missile qantraband

lamentations and grief
why there is a wailing wall
the cost of juhaisim living safe and free in the middle east
ja, th holy land of hell
that will some day give birth to a new era of enlightenment and prosperity
not the apocalypse, Ham Ass' war cry. He wants there to be a jihad rising of all Islamic peoples across the world against Israel, which is the very rationale he uses to set up his own people for martyrdumb. Good old Ham Ass. He also wants political recognition by Israel, which I demurr is not keen on the idea. The Palestinian Authority is the real deal.
