Home.
America and its lush greenery, water, rivers, ponds and lakes are now far away.

Here i am where the weather makes hot seem cool, and the refreshment of a shower seem heavenly.

The eyes of my beautiful children seem impossible. They made it without me for 3 weeks in strong confidence. They are glad we're home. Kissing is more rampant than usual.

Sweet seconds together. One watches stupid television - we all sit down to be together - stupid is sweet.

The desert remains flat. No hills to break an hour's walk. Trees are welcome irregularities. Crows are still grey. Gone are the ravens of Connecticut. A boom reminds me that soundscapes vary with the timezone.

My eyes are blurry. Glasses are nice but at home, i trust i'll find the typewriter keys - no newfangled keyboards to beguile me into typos.

If there's music, it's music of birds. So good to hear familiar quiet.

home. Brown rice and salad travel well, but it's so good to eat it at home.

Bequiling keyboards are my bane.

It is welcome news to hear you are home again.
