hi Dave!
Yes, it does - it's a deliciously large patch of field with an impossibly large sky. i could look at it forever, and everyday that i walk by, the colours and textures change.
Here's the last remnant of that 3 day break: Leftover Osnei Haman (Haman's ears) the traditional 3 cornered cookie. These i made with whole wheat dough and pure date filling.
Hi, judih... when i see pix like yours i can't help but wonder why people are unable to live together in more harmony than they do... having such a beautiful influence to live within every day must be missed by the blinded.
pass the cookies now, dear... i've had my say. yumm!
harmony comes in many shades. today it's dischord, tomorrow it's fusion.
thanks for joining in mark, arcadia and cecil.
we sing the best we can. the key is to listen a bit better. some things take time. it's a long song.
I tried out osnei haman yesterday, using cornflower so that my dad could have some (he's allergic to gluten) and an apple&wallnut filling.
The pastry was quite dry but it was quite a success, there are only 4 left.

i'm impressed! improvisation is the key.
Did you get the dough to hold its shape? That's always a game - to see if the triangle makes it through the process.
Sounds good, jeremy. mmmm.
perhaps i'll join you in that apple/walnut variation.
