Passover break

Post by judih » March 27th, 2007, 1:01 am

just in time.
i've been hanging on by fast unravelling threads.

Yes, i chose this vocation. yes, i believe in giving everything i can to help students gain self-confidence and skills. Yes, yes and yes i always say yes to a student who asks for help, but yes, i need this vacation!

i'm selfishly smiling, walking through flowers.

i'm breathing in orange blossoms.

i'm rejoicing in the sight of my kids (one of whom is leaving the country in a few weeks to sniff life in the wide world and check out what moves him)

it's day 2 of vacation and i'm alive!

ah, the flowers! the blossoms!
the glowing oranges, perfect and round!

and ahl, confident and shining, ready to set off, out, forth....

life is budding, is pulsing, is bursting forward faster than one can look.

here, the sun is burning away the last patches of late march snow that had covered our area these last few days. the blossoms are released again, sheep sing their symphony, zora is turning 10 today, and the sky is fresh and blue.

enjoy your holidays, j. yes, you need this vacation...

happy 10th birthday, zora!
ten years of enjoying her - lucky you.
budding, pulsing, scented vacation days.

where do the sheep hide during the winter? suddenly they're back.
maybe they were under the snow?

Felices vacaciones, judih!!! Enjoy the beautiful flowers, orange-trees and the beautiful boy (tell him aunt Arcadia says his eyes are amazing!!).
and yes, we-teachers sometimes NEED vacations, ja, ja!!
Here even though we have a long term affair between state and church, we only have as feriados holy thursday, friday and saturday and Sunday Easter (schools and state-related jobs), other mortals have only half thursday, friday, half saturday and of course Sunday. Anyway, is always great!!!
