I needed a break today

Post by one of those jerks » February 3rd, 2009, 4:49 am

I was thinking
"Lord help me Jesus I have wasted it so"

So I went for the the dollar double cheeseburger
because cholesterol always cheers me up

and there on my plastic tray was this:

Twelve years of college and no degree
but now I feel redeemed.
She is twice the man I am.

Steakhouse Burger knows how to wow it's patrons... but will your aging heart be as understanding..?

How closely did the burger look like the one pictured?

Mission Accomplished. Carry on...

Congratulations Jack - That's no school bus, for sure. Where do I get one?
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

One what?
Sandwich?

I took a job driving a school bus after Alamo Rose had her stroke. Me and my sister rented an apartment together so Rose could live with us instead of in the nursing home where she was very unhappy.

I drove the bus for the Mark Twain school in Montgomery county Maryland.

A school for emotionally disturbed children. Saddest kids you ever want to meet.

Montgomery county Maryland a suburb of Washington DC, back then it was the highest per capita income of any school district in the USA. Not sure if it still is.

Seems like most of kids had parents who were high level bureaucrats and they were to busy running the country they did not have much time for their kids. The kids had lots of expensive toys on the bargain behavior plan. Be good and daddy will buy you... Listen to me the expert on raising kids
Ha

I read that Obama's children are going to a Quaker school. I h hope he drops in at the Meeting for Worship now and then.

Speaking of school
Week one of my JASC painting course.
they declined my credit card

schools out
but I got this far

That painting's cool, Jack. Glad you got a chance to try the program out.

It seems like that you have to pay to not get things these days. The money was there, I don't know what happened.

Was it cool? Thanks. It took me about five minutes smearing around with the paint tubes.
