UnFriend

Post by stilltrucking » November 26th, 2009, 4:14 pm

Things I think about I don't want to think about but I still think about because I keep getting stuff in the mail that makes me think about things I think about but dont want to..

Old people get such dismal mail.

Rose used to get a calender from Sol Levinson every year. There was always one hanging in her kitchen.

Yesterday I got something in the mail about the benefits of cremation. It seems like a good idea. I wonder if it hurts. I don't want to think about burning up. Somehow it seems less painfull to lay around and rot. I must be going through a rough patch. Just woke up from my nap. Bad dreams about shopping at black friday sales and zombies. I wonder what my blood sugar is. No actually I just checked it and it is almost normal, 126. Just a bad dream not bad physiology.

I'm digging my own hole, engraving my own stone..."Here lies a girl, ordinary and plain." I'd rather wild flowers. I don't mind if they give away my internal body parts, but they can't take my eyes. Just not my eyes.

Stay around longer u.
I think you'll like this girl, Cat...

I have heard of her
I like her music I can't think of the song I am trying to think of

Oboy
I did not mind the pre paid burial or the cremation junk mail as much as the ones for adult diapers. "Dignity is Everything: Isaiah Berlin" I don't know how well I could deal with that indignity.
I been trying to read this book for awhile —'Exit Ghost'
I got it from the library and started it but then I had to take it back because it was overdue. I think I might try it again. It was hitting close to home and made me uncomfortable.

Where do we go when we go
when our "waveform collapses"?

'Eternal return'
not quite like reincarnation

If I could donate enough of my body organs then all the people I gave them to could have a convention once a year in Atlantic City and there I would be.

I am not going anywhere
well not right now anyway
but maybe later.
Be Here Now/Be Here Later
always here
even when we are not
that's my nonsense for today
thanks for for reading and taking the time to reply
UnFriend is a new word that made it into the dictionary this year. It comes from FaceBook and other social network sites. I don't know why I titled this thread UnFriend. I was thinking of UnBlog cause that is what this feels like. Someday this will all be gone,
like when the circus leaves town and all there is left is wagon tracks and peanut sacks. Those of us who are childless want to leave some tracks, I knew it would come to this even when I was a child. I was always writing my name in wet concrete.
Ephemera is me.
I want to write the songs to make Bary Manilow and the young girls cry.
I want to break their hearts.
I want to hear an elephant cry over my bones

“Please Don't Bury Me” — john prine

Woke up this morning
Put on my slippers
Walked in the kitchen and died
And oh what a feeling!
When my soul
Went thru the ceiling
And on up into heaven I did ride
When I got there they did say
John, it happened this way
You slipped upon the floor
And hit your head
And all the angels say
Just before you passed away
These were the very last words
That you said:

Chorus:
Please don't bury me
Down in that cold cold ground
No, I'd druther have "em" cut me up
And pass me all around
Throw my brain in a hurricane
And the blind can have my eyes
And the deaf can take both of my ears
If they don't mind the size
Give my stomach to Milwaukee
If they run out of beer
Put my socks in a cedar box
Just get "em" out of here
Venus de Milo can have my arms
Look out! I've got your nose
Sell my heart to the junkman
And give my love to Rose

Repeat Chorus

Give my feet to the footloose
Careless, fancy free
Give my knees to the needy
Don't pull that stuff on me
Hand me down my walking cane
It's a sin to tell a lie
Send my mouth way down south
And kiss my ass goodbye

Repeat Chorus

I would rather make you laugh than cry. I don't care about the children anymore. I don't care about not fucking anymore either. I am over all of that. All I am trying to get get over now is me.

Or as my lord and savior Albert Camus would say, I no longer seek happiness.

You don't make me cry a lot, more than most though
But you make me laugh, which is a difficult task to accomplish. :P

they say unfriend is going to be a keeper. going to be in the dictionary for a long time. It "was word of the year" according to the O.E.D.
"Unfriend" Added to Oxford Dictionary - Word of The Year

I like this:
intexticated– distracted because texting on a cellphone while driving a vehicle
