Distracted not distraught

Post by still.trucking » October 14th, 2010, 7:41 pm

In this storm
that has become my life
the past month
I long for the distraction of sleep
or something good to read, or watch or listen to
a horse a horse a kingdom for a good poem

I will settle for a sense of freedom
I will come away from this lighter
Without guilt for her unhappiness
I could have done no less.

No idea where I am bound where I am going to land

Buzzing Distraction

It was the buzz above her lift,
the waif of golden goo
was for her to yearn
into
it was to be within
the familiar honey
from the hum
she went head first
and her hair backward glue,
the comb housed
and she came warm
while the buzz
was with out.

To u,

one is silver
the other gold.

Miss u.

Wish I could give to this
till 5 a.m.
and get more out of it,
if I could,
if I could,
but there's often tomorrow.

thank you!
such a cloud of unkowing what is next
I am hoping to wind up in some beach town
I want to be near the sea again if not on it.
Sometimes I think about the road too
a sailor on a concrete sea again

I feel a sense of freedom coming on

Emily Dickinson
Could I but ride indefinite
As doth the Meadow Bee
And visit only where I liked
And No one visit me

And flirt all Day with Buttercups
And marry whom I may
And dwell a little everywhere
Or better, run away

With no Police to follow
Or chase Him if He do
Till He should jump Peninsulas
To get away from me –

I said “But just to be a Bee”
Upon a Raft of Air
And row in Nowhere all Day long
And anchor “off the Bar”

What Liberty! So Captives deem
Who tight in Dungeons are.

Hey Jack, you get to the ocean get a kayak. The float is worth the boat.

Mingo uncanny as hell
I been thinking about getting something that floats for a couple of months but all thatis gone now. I am looking at homeless again. Trying to work up as much dignity as I can. I think I will need a bigger motorcycle if I am going to play Steppenwolf. I would rather have the kayak but I think I need the wheels more right now.
thanks for being a cyber pal,

When we all have babies,
making babies, babies making babies,
delivering babies
lifting babies, singing to em,
wanting babies to be a lifesavor.

One thing to do in our lives
is have babies and that's what
people are doing,
except when we don't.
