You have friends,
you've gots me,
but I am a nobody and actually, my boss says I can be a bear...

Are you on the road?

Sorry dame I was trying to recall how I felt in 1974 when I was living in Nashville Tennessee at the Union Gospel Mission down on lower Broadway. I am okay now but I am thinking about going on the road again. Not far, just a hundred miles or so to the Gulf Coast. I would like to live there maybe I want to check it out. My little rock and roller goes in for more surgery tomorrow, if everything goes okay I am hoping that I can move away. I would like to exploare the feeling I had back in Nashville again. Not the homeless part, but the being alone in a new town and starting over.

No I am okay
except embarrassed about my feminist thread yesterday.

I never intended to start a rant about how men are victimized by women and women by men.

So many people got bad songs playing in their heads about relationships going wrong. I used to but thirty years of celibacy have laid all my bad memories to rest.

1974 turned out to be a good year for me. I settled in Nashville joined the Quakers and had a new life. This after two years of aimless wandering following silent woman's abortion.

This is a picture of me from that time

Thanks for asking Dame
How did the wedding go?
Did you have a good time?
Do your feet hurt?

The illusion of time
the stassis
the waiting
the slipping away
frozen in amber
the inertia
a longing to be on my own again

one step closer to where I want to be
what a joke
I should have been there
been here been there

If your driftin' brings ya next to the ocean to live Jack, I think it will be a good fit. Don't know why I say that other than it feels right to think of ya doin' that.

Well, tonight I can meet you by the water front and we can build a little shelter where we hear the waves going soosh, soosh, oooh! ooosh. Just like Jack's poem when he talked to the water. We can even paint the rocks whatever color you like. Might be healing water. You and I both, gonna want to be there, maybees.

Thanks mingo. I been smoking a lot of dope, probably part of what I am writing here.

The kid goes in for surgery again today.
If anything good has come out of the wars it is Brooks Army Medical Center. They got reconstructive surgeons who walk on water. Lord knows they have plenty experience putting people back together.

Kind of like being in hell, what ever that is like.
But I remember why I am here.
So I am keeping the faith.

heretical as it is.

It is so interesting Dame. It is (work/worth( the loss of privacy and solitude.

Mostly what I am trying to do is work on myself Dame. My vibes are not all that healthy, unless I have an open text box in front of me. ]flashingback, bill pilgrim got nothing on me. Memories of my psychedelic phase drifting through the stream, G.I. Gurdjieff, P.D. Ouspensky, the watcher at the gate [/size]
And my own personal Jesus F. Nietzsche

Stormy morning warm thunderstorms and lightning, ah it sweet so sweet just to imagine being at the coast, the winds are quiet and just a gentle rain falling

Thanks to you both.

Am I bitchin you bet and I should be laughin' maybe part of me is laughin' somewhere but some days I'm just too tired to laugh. And that's the truth where it stands right now. God have mercy on us all. And you're welcome Jack. For the friends part that is.

I got no heat here, I have not come to that point yet. I got no blankets either.

It hardly gets to a hard freeze here but it does get cold, sometimes below freezing.

Deal with that when the time comes

You what kills me is trying to buy thermal under wear in February. It is like trying to buy a swim suit in july. Sorry but that item is out of season.

Wonderful play

I only saw it thirty years ago
like to see it again some day.
The janitor controlled everything from traffic on interstate 5 to the here after.

I'd like to know how the janitor pulled that off. I could use that trick myself. I'd probably just get in trouble with it though.

hey how does that new attachment thing work. I tried last night to post with it on the cave and first it tells me I have too few characters in my message and then I ended up posting the same thing twice. Was not my intent. I figured you might know. Thanks.

All I know is not much, but I do know this much:

You have to enter text in the text box to attache a picture. You can't attache to an empty text box.

type one character in the text box and that is enough

Also you can not attache any file larger than 500k

Looking at that sheet music, it so weird to me. what does it mean, like looking at mathematical equations.

Ok, Thx Jack. Maybe keep me from postin' the same thing twice. I didn't know with the new setup that you can upload directly now, discovered it sideways by reading one of doreen's recent posts. Which is cool even though I goofed it first time out. I never did like putting everything on another site and then bringing it over here. You set that up for me and thx for that. Feel better though just liftin' it from my own files and postin' without a middleman.

Know what you mean about the music symbols. Think they are neat though just as signs. Did a painting once using them as abstract objects.

Gotta go mount that tire I had repaired the other day. Tryin' to make it between rain "events".
