Sometimes a cigar is a cigar

Post by tinkerjack » January 18th, 2011, 2:47 pm

I can hardly bring my self to speak the word God anymore. I don't even want to write it.

G d has been good to me so far,
I have not been in the hands of an Angry G d.
Does that mean I am not a sinner
Or that I was but have repented and sin no more.
But it seems as if my whole life through G d has been good to me.

Life is sweet, and this is such a good cigar.

"and I was lucky enough to be employed
...tangled up in blue
wondering if her hair was still red..."

Entangled up in blue
I still miss my dog.
I still miss my elephant
but "flesh and blood needs flesh and blood"

What was this thread going to be about?
My life off the rails the past two days.

My ears ringing with the sound of the crowd, dueling boom boxes, car alarms, horns honking, thousands of people milling around I merge into the flow, in another twenty years America will be one huge flea market from sea to shining sea. Russia in the years following the collapse of the USSR..
