the dots between the ducks and the words
natural selection
the wealth of nations
the ascent of woman
the colorful plumage of male birds
and the protestant work ethic in women

Honor, a woman's honor what more does she have.

The devil beats his wife with a silver chain
And Bukowski kicks her ass

but what has that got to do with poetry

or love

Everything is so interesting these days, so absorbed in taking it all in I sometimes forget to breathe.

I am not talking about suicide

but that is a nasty fork I am walking around with

how did I get to be so fucking old over night

this can't be right

even so I got to write

keeping the faith

I am the same age as Bukowski when he died

and what have I wrote lately
If you can't give me love and peace, Then give me bitter fame. — Akhmatova.
