No I have not been to the elephant sanctuary. That was when me and Delhi were working for John Cuneo's Circus back in 1974. I took good care of them but they suffered after I left.

RE:
Did the USDA confiscate the elephants?
Actually, no; the Hawthorn elephants remain under the care of John Cuneo and his employees at their barn in Northern Illinois. The only elephant that the USDA has ever confiscated is Delhi, another one of John Cuneo’s elephants. In an unprecedented action, the USDA confiscated 58 year old Delhi a year and a half after her feet were soaked in full strength formaldehyde by a Hawthorn employee. She was sent to The Elephant Sanctuary in November of 2003, where she is currently recovering and doing very well.

I enjoy your poetry Dino

Very much

More than enjoy

I just can't think of a stronger word right now except love.

But "what has love got to do with it?"

Your poetry don't make me sick
it makes me stronger.

Been a month of sundays since you posted a poem dino.

I mentioned to the new guy that almost everything I write is spontaneous and he wrote back something like "sometimes spontaneous is another word for lazy." How you like them cup cakes? He only been here a week or so and he already has my number.

I had high hopes for my table of contents
I was going to get a webpage started and tie or die trying to tie my 13,000 odd text boxes together into a hypertext document. In the meanwhile Geocities shut down and I lost all my html documents
and photos.

So I got this webspace on Time Warner Cable with a little domain but I am so limited in what I can upload it is a joke. Even for another vanity page like mine.

I found that little gem by doreen while surfing the back pages here.

Stay connected bro.
Happy new year.
