Millions of years from now I imagine archeologists going through our landfills and theorizing why McDonald's coffee stirrers went from having little spoons on the ends to being flat. I wonder if they will figure out that it was because people were using th little spoons to snort cocaine.

So many mysteries the future holds for scholars.

Meanwhile my sister is sounding better.
Well it got so negative it could not get any worse. So things are looking up for her.

I'd no idea about the stirrers.
I know that I get irate about the plastic soda wrappers, and will break up the ones I see before throwing out.
I'm po-ed that there's space junk.
First things coming to mind.

But, I'll never live on the moon, only the rich and famous will get tickets. It should stay pure like. If we live in space we should pick some other way, like a floating capsule/pod..I don't know except that hippies won't be included in the voyage up, so who will clean up after the importants?

I found this while twittering...
http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/books ... oks-market
I'd want one for myself
and one for the kids.
Let's imagine an online lending service - I'll call it Bookify. On payment of a subscription fee, a reader is given access to what will probably become the largest library in the world. Books can be borrowed at will, even on a whim. Subscriptions can be calibrated to allow for pre-determined 'borrowing' limits. And when the 'book' is due, Bookify reclaims it without the untidy business of dealing with forgetful borrowers and overdue fees.
