Happy Meal

Post by gypsyjoker » July 14th, 2008, 3:54 am

Of all the meals I ate with my brothers and sister why did I take an eidetic snap shot of that one.

like a line from a long gone yabyum poem

I knew the location of a crumb of happiness

That I had tucked away to remember a happy childhood.

As I looked at the table the things on it my brother's faces, some distant consciousness told me that I should remember the moment.

I always thought that there were certain things I'd never forget...at this place on the side of the road I find the only thing thats true is that you can only remember the things you want to forget...doreen has a new picture of herself today...a pair of empty shoes...I'd ask her about that , prophecies and all, but I don't want to add that to the thread...still, all in all, even though those shoes have each other, I know they are just waiting for their owner to return...I hope one day that D.B. Cooper steps outta the woods looking just like Robert Redford as Jeremiah Johnson with stories 'bout camping out with Bigfoot...man the crows are yakking up a storm outside the window here...I wonder what all the excitement is about?...
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

The sins of the fathers inflicted on the sons of the daughter's resentment.
