Thinking about a comment a a cyber pal made about it not really being a country but more of a region.
Ah my German problem.
Germany not really a country till the end of the 19th centruy, more of a region of feuding principalities.
So by the time they get their Imperial act together the world is already carved up in colonies.
And Germany's late start still haunts us into the 21st century.
It seems to me that the Germans and the Jews have been the most problematic peoples in history.
But that is just because I woke up late this morning, the sun did not go off with a bang till an hour after sunrise.
Bang
and I am already two hours late for the day.
