I was thinking of the Plath poem.
I don't know much about her poetry
Was she really that brilliant?
But I have read the Bell Jar so many times I can't remember. probably ten. For me it was a field guide to mother daughter relationships. My sister and mother were on a level of communication I was clueless about. In fact all the women in my family I never could figure out what the hell they were fighting about.
I wonder why men seem to find women so much more interesting than women find men. (virginia woolf quote)
