Local Apparent Sidereal Time
SAN ANTONIO , TX
Longitude -98.50 degrees
09:53 LST
Friona Texas, ten cows for every people
Freezing rain, ice covered parking lot, he tries to heave a 250 lb tire up on the deck plate. It can sure put a kink in your love life. He was walking around on his hands and knees for a week after that.
My mind wanders in pain this morning.

Sublimation
As if earthquakes are erotic
As if I was her
As if only her love could heal me
I wish they could all be California girls
And if I can not have my true love
I will have no other.
Sextexting
what a concept
my mind sublimates like dry ice
I am sucking on a cube of it now
that accounts for the feeling I have now
of her lips on mine.

Sweet Is The Melody---Iris DeMent
Sweet is the melody, so hard to come by.
It's so hard to make every note bend just right.
You lay down the hours and leave not one trace,
But a tune for the dancing is there in it's place.
Well, the dance floor's for gliding and not jumping over ponies.
Where boots and gold bracelets come and meet as they should.
It's for celebrating a Friday night romance:
Forgetting the bad stuff and just feeling good.
Oh, sweet is the melody, so hard to come by.
It's so hard to make every note bend just right.
You lay down the hours and leave not one trace,
But a tune for the dancing is there in it's place.
Oh, an arm's just an arm 'til it's wrapped 'round a shoulder;
Looped side by side they go stepping out together.
A note's just a note 'til you wake from your slumber,
And dare to discover the new melody.
Oh, sweet is the melody, so hard to come by.
It's so hard to make every note bend just right.
You lay down the hours and leave not one trace,
But a tune for the dancing is there in it's place.
Instrumental break.
Oh, sweet is the melody, so hard to come by.
It's so hard to make every note bend just right.
You lay down the hours and leave not one trace,
But a tune for the dancing is there in it's place.
Ooh, ooh.
Ooh ooh.

Ok thanks Renee.
Today I die death number 726
My back ache is not a back ache
She said it is her kidney hurting her because she drinks too much diet soda.
But I think it must just be a backache with me because I hardly drink more than two gallons of diet cola a day.
I got the back ache trying to pull my boots on.
What a day
Magnificent May
My rose bushing is insane.

Renee ain't right
and neither am I
she is simple minded
I got that from alex
who knows everyone's life story
Renee had brain surgery.
Took me a while to place her accent
German
First day I met her she asked if I was married, I said yes.
She asked me a few times where my wife was
I said in Iraq.
Boy oh boy
I am the stud muffin of the senior citizens housing complex
ten old farts living here
nine old women and one old fart
I feel like a gigolo sometimes

This got dam thread is a disaster

except it keeps track of my pain
Was it in May that my I Ching said I was about to be blind sided.
Three months of pain
Renee telling me that it was kidney failure but I knew it was my back.

Hydrocodone?
1250 mg
a choice between this compulsive typing or work
I chose this.
I could use Jack Sparrow's compass right now.

I always loved those Ho wood pirate movies
Grew up so close to the harbor in Baltimore, before the jobs left the waterfront and urban renewal took over. Old square rigger still tied up in Fells Point, not Old Ironsides but the Constellation.
Drove home from the hospital so drunk on the 1250 so scared I had a grip on the seat cushion with both cheeks.
compass needle is spinning
I must be close to it.

when work is too interesting
when I can't stand success
I need a screw top cranium
I need to take a peek inside
a brain check.

wheel chair in rush hour traffic
american flag on a staff
i see him pass by
We catch each others eye
I nod yes and hand him two dollars
he gives me the Sunday edition of the SA newspaper
he is wearing old military clothing
camouflage pants that end at the knee
which is also where his legs end.
I thought he was panhandling
I try to give him more money
but traffic is already moving.

Oh, brothers!
We have all gathered here to preserve our hallowed culture and heritage from intrusion, inclusion and dilution of colour, of creed, and of our old-time religion.
We aim to pull evil up by the root before it chokes out the flower of our culture and heritage.
And our women, let's not forget those ladies, y'all, looking to us for protection from Darkies, from Jews, from Papists, and from all those smart-ass folks say we come descended from monkeys.
That's not my culture and heritage.

'random frequent flyer Dent
and churlish thoughts'
like living in a text box
autumnal equinox on time on schedule
like someone threw a switch
only two things amiss
only things I miss
the women I loved
and the road
I always get what's coming
I never have to ask
amor fati
