Taking care of myself --The Trance of Everyday Life

Post by stilltrucking » August 6th, 2009, 12:17 am

So beautiful, so perfect how it worked out

Why?

I don't even wonder anymore.

How it came to this.

Like school is out

and I luxuriate in endless time to kill

If not for gravity I would have it made.

No free lunch, I reap what I sowed. I would not have it any other way. I want to be responsible for my fate.

Grace, if only the midnight special would shine its ever loving light on me.

“The fairest thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. He who knows it not and can no longer wonder, no longer feel amazement, is as good as dead, a snuffed-out candle. It was the experience of mystery — even if mixed with fear — that engendered religion. ”

Between Jesus and Buddha
Hanshan and Johnny Cash
Freud and Nietzsche
Heaven or Hell
I don't even know

I am all contradictions and inconsistencies
I will never change a thing
this is the way it is for me
I have no hope
I have nothing and nowhere to go.
It is all here and now
and yet I still I believe it all will work out right
and I could be wrong about that too

Maybe we can have it anyway we want it when we die, like the Pharaohs in their tombs with the things they needed for the after life. I could ask to be buried with my ATM card.

Meanwhile I delight in my mundane miracles
