Baby Moses Law

Post by stilltrucking » September 30th, 2009, 6:24 pm

Would Jesus weep?

Mother 16
Father 18.

Their second child.

I was doing fine
Until I read about it.

Abandon Hope.

Now the black wind moans.
Maybe it just my blood sugar

A mood swing

sorry
It just comes and goes.
Express-News Editorial Board - Every time a baby is killed in San Antonio, a sense of sadness looms in the community as we question what we could have done differently to save the young life.

The case of the baby abandoned at Fire Station No. 10 on the city's West Side is no different.

And my mind goes back to Christmas of 2003
I have read that memory is relived experience
Second hand clothes
second hand memories.

Tsunami grief.

Multiple and varying emotions to me on this topic.
I'm deeply pained anytime to hear of a baby's death. It'll always be a death not able for to cope with or allowance to brush it off. It's the saddest.

I was a teen Momma to my first. At times I honestly think I had some major good momma tricks up my sleeve then, compared to now.

Obviously, not all teen Mommas/parents do well. Though, I admit I worry a lot over the topic, and negativity expressed towards them, stereotypically speaking. It's sad to read this happening.

It was a bad year last year
A bad year for children
I forgot how many killed in San Antonio

The momma was 16 years old
that was her second child
The Daddy was 18

They are children too.

Nothing to do with child abuse
Just my mind running in strange loops

I think those people know the score. You can't tell them anything they don't already know. My advice is keep a low profile. Say as little as possible.

I hope I am wrong. I hope you can change the culture within your department. But have you had any luck changing it so far? Have you spoken up about it before.

don't try to be a hero Hester.
The truth is your best friend. you will say what words come into your mouth to say. I hope you did not loose any sleep loose any sleep over what you are going to say. I just shoot for the truth. Chief Joseph said the truth does not require many words to speak. That is all I am saying.
