Not sure about the question you asked 'bout the old Jews, Jack. I think the old Jews doing just fine. It's like Jack the Ripper said, "The Jews are not the ones to be blamed forever." It's a strange place the world is & we are strangers on it. I was following the bunny trail last night out on the Web & I landed on this site where the folk were all speakin' language new to me the way they were using it & I came away from there cracklin' with it. Hell, it spun off a poem that I posted in creative writing for H. Jesus Carpenter's sake which is something I don't do much often but I knew I had something & had to ring the bell.
I was all stirred up as my uncle says it. Anyways..."new Jews" was just something that popped out of my storm as I was writing that poem. If it has a meaning apart from what I was using it for I'm unacquainted with it. For me it was an image part & parcel of what & where I was going with the poem. Your "Night In Texas" piece was the first wave of inspiration for it all.

Did some reading about Christian Zionists. Whatever is motivating these folks it is not coming from the One who originally called them.
