a million of tons of stone
ten million
the great pyramid of Cheops
sitting on my chest

at the bottom of a well filled with molten lead
a body at rest

a body betrays me
how old men become like women

fast forward
fast forward
call this the wait
someone like me
always got to be moving
now I got roots growing out of my feet
how did it ever come to this.
I wimped out.
I am going to ride
just ride
head out the door
like I was easy rider
got to feel something
this stasis is killing me

so strange
how comfortable I have become
so comfortable like I was already dead and grateful
