I ain't got any either & serves me right too. Too late to do anything 'bout it now.
There ain't no money there never was any money never will be any money. Ya got ten years on me Jack and from the reports you're sending back from out there I take it ya ain't found no roses in your bed. Or magic either. Or Lifetime Award for things said & done. Well, I got fresh maple syrup in my coffee though and time to enjoy it. Time also to enjoy cars swishing by on a rain soaked road here in front of the lodge. There's some that say there should be more. More of what is what I wonder. The past is like that millstone around the neck some days but other days that millstone is light as if it were nothing at all. It's not eat, drink, and be merry for me but eat, drink, & be. Be right down close to the bone.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

money is useful magic

but not the measure

thinking about that bit in the Bible somewhere about the children of this world

Luke 16:8 I think

my little rock and roller got a birthday coming up want to buy him a crib and a playpen for his daughter

Every time I see the point of it all, when I connect the dots, I get nervou s.

only point I can see is to be here for each other

That's one of the best points there is. Wish I had used it more when the chances to presented themselves to me. But selfishness won out most times. And the fruit of that selfishness reveals itself to me now as deep regret. Which I can do nothing about but feel it. Funny the things a man goes through.
