"There must be something in a healthy Gentile that excites the Jewish mind, like when he sees some sour black bread."

Henry Miller and Crazy Mike both born in the 19th century, contemporaries, one a sick Jew the other a healthy Gentile.

Miller Orwell essay
Amor fati mom
Amor fati dad
Amor Fati my life

Crazy Mike, Nietzsche, Miller
I only laugh for my father
I can only clown for him in gratitude for the gift of life he gave me.
“Moma could never understand how Lucifer could lead a man to the Punkin Center barn dance”
arl Shapiro introduction TOC
Joy is like a river [says miller] ,it flows ceaselessly. It seems to me that this is the message which the clown is trying to convey to us, that we shold not stop to reflect, compare, analyze, posses, but flow on and through endlessly, like music. Theis is the gift of surrender, and the clownmakes it sy mbollically. It is for us to make it real

At no time in the history of man has the world been so full of pain and anguish. Here and there however we meet with indivualswho are untouched, un sullied,, by the common grief. They are not heartless individuals, far from it! They are emancipated beings, for them th world is not what it seems to us. They see with other eyes. We say of them that they have died to the world. They live in the moment, fully, and the radiance which emanates from them is a perpetual joy.

Pain has no more secret receses.

….let us try to look at it with the eyes of a Patagonian for whom all that is sacred and taboo in our world is meaningless.

Anais Nin Preface to Tropic of Cancer 1934

Borowski wears corduroy suits and plays the accordion. An invincible combination, especially when you consider he is not a bad artist. He puts on that he is a Pole, but he is not, of course. He is a Jew, Borowski, and his father was a philatelist. In fact, almost all Montparnasse is Jewish, or half-Jewish which is worse.

…The Jews then are snowing me under, I am writing this for my friend Carl wose father is a Jew. All this is important to understand.

Of them all the loveliest Jew is Tania, and for her sake I too would become a Jew. Why not? I already speak like a Jew. And I am as ungly as a Jew. Besides, who hates the Jews more than the Jew?

Paris is like a whore. From a distance she seems ravishing, you can't wait to have her in your arms. And five minutes later you feel empty, disgusted with yourself. You feel tricked.
Henry Miller Tropic of Cancer
He's Henry. :P
I can't get enough of those two love fools, ya know.

Here is a book which, if such a thing were possible, might restore our appetite...

or should gets.

Thanks Dame, if not for you I would never have tried to read him again. I was too neurotic, too uptight, too sick a Jew, too much the son of crazy mike to read him.

But now he is jumping off the page at me. I feel the way I did the first time I tripped. So clean so sexually pure, so healthy

I don't know about her. Except she was hip to him in 1934.

I am pretty hopeless about romance like my hero Ignatius J Riley

But even so I am happy they found each other.
When into the womb of time everything is again withdrawn chaos will be restored and chaos is the score upon which reality is written. You, Tania, are my chaos. It is why I sing. It is not even I, it is the world dying shedding the skin of time. I am still alive, kicking in your womb, a reality to write upon
I been using her as a :P instead.

I think they just loved what they were doing
by doing what they love.
She fell into his strange world,
I don't know that she always understood it,
but she had an appetite for what he was feeding.

And to him I think Anais was a soft spot to lay his head,
she was a flower and he had a lot of thick, rough and gritty
until he'd turn into Anais' petal pout
and he'd go insanely for her feminine.
:P

I like her fits (your girl).

And prolly Anais' husband was way too much fluff.
She doesn't say it, but I read it in her body language.
I mean an unhappy Anais couldn't have said anything too bad about Hugo
because she didn't have room for it under all her guilts for keeping Henry.
It's the unwritten, but Hugo was a girl.

I don't know Dame
But I just dig the mystery
the difference
my own masculinity so ambiguous
I got a girly man streak, a mile wide
but the phenomenology of female spatiality is the sweetest thing on earth to me. I guess I am heterosexual because I am bored with my own body and I need to think about those amazing curves and all that white matter. Boy oh boy I know what they meant when someone said "thank you G d for creating me a man.

well that is the way it goes the texans say
first your money than your clothes

I am going to dedicate my first best seller to my mother, doreen peri, sad l uck dame and all them evil women set on world domination.

intering looking horse black with a white tail out my window I sit here like henry miller, (thank you for bringing him to my attention) sitting here among the forlorn rags of old age that St Jack despaired of and I am happy sitting here typing by touch as I was that horse swish his tail outside my bedroomoffice

last words
and testaments
cause you never know
tomorrow you might be in Utah

What ever it was
a marriage made in heaven
between reading and writing

just like bogey and bacall

I don't know if I got ya to notice him
or if you introduced me to Tropic of Cancer
then I said look at Henry.

We intertwine and weave
curled up around your edges
and you my curves.

I think you get most of this dance on to the floor,
I'm just there swinging my ruffles. :P

If I write a book I might write it about you,
especially if you're catfish and I'm spitting Alice. :P

I'd be missing out if I didn't have your friendship.

Anymore.
What the heck is ‘white matter’ any way?
Something to do with the connections between the gray cells
Oh yes da womin be smarter in everyway

It is more like the angles than the curves with you sometimes
Entangled up in the Blues

Thanks for being a pen pal

I’m just saying that because I am vain. But not vain enough for best sellers. Too late for me for books, just this compulsive scribbling. The words come easy with you Dame. You introduced me to Nin and Miller through her. I still have not seen the movie. Sorry. I don’t know anything about her except I think she had “a lot of sand” Have you ever seen Gangs of New York? The scene explaining what a “turtledove” is?

Exposing pain, what was that quote?

Poor old Freud, I think I will google freud and miller and see it there are any dots connecting them. Another thing that impressed me is how many dots there were connecting Henry Miller and every great writer of the 20th century. Orwell, Pound, I forget who else, T.S. Eliot. It is the dots between Henry Miller and George Orwell that intrigue me mostly

Talk at you later.

I'm confused now,
does this mean you're mad with me
and are we fighting today or twirling?

I don't know how to do geometry, not much for Math.
I used to handle it enough to hold down a B throughout school,
but all got lost with not making it used. sigh.

The catfish said to me to read Tropic of Cancer and Henry and June,
and so I was fishing with you. :P

smirk and raz a glance from your direction.

I was joking when I said dedicate my first best seller. I hoped you knew that.

I may be angry, but like my hero Henry Miller I am not bitter.

There are no more books to be written, thank God
This then? This is not a book.

it's human condition or conditioning.
I thought you were always mad at me about my thoughts of America and presidency.
