Crazy Mike was crazy brave. He was always upfront, never denied he was a Jew by birth. Whatever that says about Jewish Women.

Howdy
Thinking about the time bubbie came up to you crying because she was so worried about your health. Later when I told you she was crying over a broken flower pot when you drove up. And you said with a smile, "economy of effort:"

Thinking about my health the last couple days, your daughter ragging on me because I left the air conditioner on while I was out of the room. I pay the electric bill around here but even so she said what about next month. At first I was pissed but then I realized she had a point. I could very easly be dead in another month.

At this point I have out lived Jack Kerouac by 30 years and I still ain't published jackshit.

Oh well, thinking I would still be me, he be dead and I am still alive. Speaking of dead I been reading a biography of Martin Luther. I seemed to have developed an affinity for all things German at this late date in my life.

Yes Martin Luther and the forlorn rags of old age.

I thought about your grandson today, I wonder what you would think of facebook. Of the internet, sometimes I wonder if you are still playing chess.

Crazy Mike's Daughter

I just realized I will never be able to write her story so I might as well unlock this topic.

It is a pity, cause if I could get past the censor and find a way to tell her story while protecting the innocent and the guilty it would leave you :

I finally met someone crazier than me, a lot crazier, big lots crazier

he was on the run from death lizards from the planet Muton who were trying to make him change his chromosomes or else they would make him kill himself.

I wonder if I tried hard enough I could change my chromosomes.

Such a gifted artist, dead at twenty-seven cause he could not change his chromosomes. I still remember the picture he painted of his wife, black fishnet stockings and see through robe, flames all around her, horns on her head and a devil's tail.

What more could I have done
I could have been a friend but I was too afraid.

Fear dad, thanks for that. Someday I know it will come in handy.
