on the edge of sanity
the edge of my mind
which is as flat a a pancake these days

frozen in amber nebulous ambivalence

where memory leaks from molecules
and the world makes no sense
strong emotions are slumbering beneath an out shell of going through the motions, numbing patterns of routine

the world is as it is
progress is what it is
nothing new under the sun
new folly every day
where do the children play

armistice day rant

fuck chirstian soldiers
fuck veterans day'
fuck the "united snakes of america"

hell yeah mongolia where there is still some elbow room

R.I.P. Crazy Mike
and thank you

I am fed up on john wayne movies and one size fits all holidays for veterans of bullshit wars, bull shit lip service holidays, every war got to have its own veterans day, I am just a stupid old four f hippy conscientious objector from baltimore, don't mind me
Pardon me my insanity, I am certified unfit for military service, but even so I want to keep the memory of Armistice Day on November 11, my father's war, Armistice day, the war we fought to make the world safe for democracy and the Wall Street robber barons. I don't want no bullshit one day fits all holiday for veterans. Each war has got to have its own day, for Vietnam it should be April 25. And for the Civil war on May 30th, I got room for Memorial day for the veterans of the only no bullshit war we ever fought. And world war two on the day we nuked Japan. but combat veterans of every other gotdam war got to stand in line for their own veterans day, then when we have our 365th veterans day for the war against penguins we will have no more wars because we have run out of calender. Every four years we can have a veterans day for peace time veterans from war times like like George W Bush.

the open gate
I watched them walk through it and disappear
as I try to meme myself with the moment
then I watch myself go out the gate and disappear
Should i have shut the gate :!:

the way out of my mind
into the empty sky
if it is true and i hope it is
that a man can die....
Kerouac - "I hope it is true that a man can die and yet not only live in others but give them life, and not only life, but that great consciousness of life."

Camus died
even as I read him I knew
that gate is always open

"there are no keys to the gates of hell they are always open", where did I read that
what does it matter where, except I think I worked in a truck stop like that once.

same gate I have read
the same gate to heaven or hell
"things equal to the same things are equal to each other"

A sure sign of my insanity
a dollar bill equals one hundred pennies
same thing I guess but what would you rather be hit in the head with, a sock full of pennies or a sock full of dollar bills.

I sure hope nobody reads this stuff but me, sure. I would not want to make that much sense.

abstractions fail me
deep breaths I need
not deep thoughts
“In times of War the Law is Silent,” does NOT apply to our current situation. We are NOT under threat of invasion. We are NOT being invaded. No such “state of emergency” exists. There is no such “military necessity.” There is no such military or otherwise, any need to occupy these several independent and sovereign states. This is all, “Legal Fiction,” and isn’t it time that WE the People know and understand what ‘Legal Fiction” is? Isn’t it time that WE the People return to ordinary occasions?

So what is this post really saying?

“In times of War the Law is Silent,” the American Civil War and the term ‘Legal Fiction,’ form another mathematical axiom – “things equal to the same things are equal to each other.” One way to understand the term ‘Legal Fiction’ is by the words “as if.” From the beginning of the American Civil War in 1860/1861 up to today, September 14, 2012, over a hundred and fifty years later, it is “as if” the Civil War never ended. This is precisely what has occurred and is presently occurring. But it is all, ‘Legal Fiction!”

hi jack. check it out. my brother, mom, and me were coming back from walmart down german hill rd and i remembered about the graveyard - workingmen's circle (?) - so i started looking around and saw it! it's closer than i thought - up around a mile from the old carlton theater. i think boston street dead-end's right next to it. send me info and i'll visit and try to take a pic.

I hope that neighborhood is still there, intact, survived urban renewal, I used to get lost going up and down those streets every time I would go there. 8)

Pictures would be so cool, :D

my homeboy got a perpetual care plan on that big marble tombstone. Be cool to have a picture of it. Last time I saw it was over thirty years ago and the stone was leaning over = maybe from the vibrations from the trucks over on boulevard. :?

I got both versions of alley nightmares, reading them side by side I like the changes.

working on a more poetic reply to it
with no emoticons

I wonder what ever happened to the perpetual jam, not seen wireman a long time here on studio eight :?:

Good to know about wire man. thank you

There used be a little gatehouse with a caretaker, I asked him if it was okay to smoke and he said smoking was okay but asked me to please wear a hat when I went in.

if i win the lotto some day we could maybe meet there and burn one — one day. Maybe pass through Fred rock too.

Still Trucking, & all your sock drawer buddies, those are interesting thoughts, music & illustrations.
Yeah, I remember talking to my own Grandpa about World War One. What a awful mess that was...
Especially, the trenches & the gas attacks... :(

"We are all bozos on this bus called Earth", once coined by Ken Kesey, & we need all the peace & understanding we can get. Seasons greetings & G-d bless us every one... :D
