'american woman stay away from me'

I first heard that phrase "social whore" from a woman in Atascadero CA.

A waitress at a Sambo's™ restaurant there. And a great songwriter :!:

"they say I was a rebel till I reached the age of five
it was then that i got caught up in the struggle to survive...
It came to me one rainy August morning like a flash
we might all wake up tomorrow in a pile of smoke and ash"

William S. Burroughs painted himself into a corner.
I think I know how it was for him.
or is it just my vanity?

after william tell
after mexico\
after mrs burroughs
he had to redo his consciousness

break on through to the other side
I can still here them chanting every time i hear that song
don't know the spelling but it sounded like
nam may oh ring a oh

I hate to say I am scared of these forlorn rags
as I try one more time to get it down here in words
there will be other days probably
I crewed on a fishing trawler with captain 'Wolf Larsen' when times were desperate and we were dead in the water, working down in the engine room to get her going again, all we tried didn't work he would say ,'one more try, let's give it the suicide try'

everybody quotes margaret mead but few knew who she really was.
"yes you are absolutely unique just like everyone else"

that spark that burns so bright in some of us
I turn to the west and think of saint jack

thanks for dropping by my asylum,
mi amigo

I believe music is magic.
Too wonderful for me
It is far above me and beyond me
I listen but don't understand it.
It keeps me hanging on
my life as a melody

Miss Doreen too
another hero of mine
Happy to see jimboloco again
mingo is cool, so was surfermike
judih like a big sister to me even if I am old enough to be her grandfather.

I may be tune deaf and tone deaf but I still need to listen

i tried to kill myself so many times- and found out we just dont die- we just shift- on to another level- either that or that was a waste of drugs in the 60 s and 70 s
seriously
dante s inferno- the insde cover used to spook me- i thought the books in that room were like forbidden or something- so i was like a secret agent reader- flash light under the covers-
but i lost it around nostra domus= predicting the future :!:

I was a precocious child, I only tried to kill myself once when I was eight years old. To this day sixty-five years later I can't stand to wear a crew neck sweater or a tie. Nothing around my neck.

I sometimes awake from nightmares about it, gasping for breath. I remember my state of mind while I was doing it, such a feeling of unlove. Unlove, that sounds like George Orwell newspeak

Everything is beautiful and I don't want to die, but I kill myself a little everyday I smoke another cigarette.

I don't know what will happen to me after I die. I think Iwill be dead. And I was raised in a family that believed in a religion where dead was dead, that's it. kaput and gone. But that is just what I think.

But I guess I still believe that. It is a comfort for me, I don't loose no sleep over heaven or hell. I just want to do my best with what I got left of my time here.

Fill every moment with love, dance every dance, enjoy every meal
and
listen to the music

sorry to see this day gone
I get all mixed up with time zones
my computer set to Pacific time because the company I work for is located there
my computer clock reading ten PM
but in fact today is already gone here on Tulsa time
oh lordy what a beautiful day
happy together
me and my bike
fall weather like a wake up call

oh yes look at me
I am old but I am happy

good night good night
Irene

sometimes I take a great notion
to write about
all the beauty I have loved.

last ten years like a blur
like I been on a fast train to Georgia
I weren't born no yesterday
Call him up
Jesus on the main line
I got a good Christian raising and an eigth grade education
and my grand ma's old age pension is the reason I'm standing here today
now that the old girl is gone before me
sometimes when I need religion I feel her aura still
come on willie can't you hear the thunder
your ma me don't travel well rain
and the devil beats his wife with a silver chain
a cut and paste of ry cooder meets billy joe shaver meets Robert earl keene
