Sincerity's shadow

By practicing a little solitude, going off by yourself once in a while to store up that most precious of golds: the vibrations of sincerity.
The Beat Generation and The Decline of the West

"...poets in English have sought to represent a “sincere” self-consciousness through their work. Forbes’s generative insight is that this project can only succeed by staging its own failures. Self-representation never achieves final sincerity, but rather produces an array of “sincerity effects” that give form to poetry’s exploration of self."

Sincerity's shadow in the machine language of this thaumaturgical silicon pal of mine
Virtual friends on the studio eight
my dearest friends are total strangers
as if I knew who they are /who I am
when I see clearly I am what I write is
the world as it exists in my mind is in this text box
and nobody knows what I mean but me
words fail unless I can "find the person who can forget about words and have a word..."?

preemptive grief, aka anticipatory grief
friends come and go
in a room where women speak of bangs and whimpers
Would I like to stick around this planet for another five billion years?
I can't see how I can not
I want to be conscious when the earth the sun devours the earth.
Can't help thinking about all the single-use plastic bottles in my trash can
That would take care of that problem.

ain't no notion that motion can't cure

body at rest
mind in motion

homesick loneliness blues
a dollar for my thoughts would not tax my mind at all
road calls home for the holidays

home is where the cursor blinks

I been reading that book for twenty years at least, read it more than any other book, maybe even the bible,

funny how many of the best of all long-haul truckers are vets
grateful for the ones I drove sleeper team with
you could lay back there in that coffin-like sleeper compartment and go to sleep

let's make a deal my favorite show
I always wanted to dress up like a giant carrot and compete on it,

oi :!: I can hardly control the moving cursor, my fingers one thought in back of my mind

old age ain't so bad, so long as I can do what I want to, but I have made allowances for certain life changes.
for example, I used to be circumcised, or I used to have a penis.

I seek the breaks of the blessings of longevity, also the writers who shed grace on my way.
felt like...I was froZen in ice, and waiting/or writing for the sun to thaw me out

I wish I was an Episcopalian or even a Presbyterian or Lutheran
anything but a Quaker-Jew.

can religions be hyphenated?
how about a Zen-judist.

beats me I been watching the same funeral for three days and it warping my perception of death.
I don't have a perception of death, but if I did it would be warped.

flag-draped coffin
can anybody be buried with a flag-draped coffin
or do you got to be a veteran
if I get to have any say in that finally ritual which is my destiny to participate in as a human being.
what flag would I choose?
Or do I want to be buried, why do I even think of such things?
The will to power?
I think so, leggo my ego

where the heck is mingo?

ain't a cowboy in Texas that would not ride a bull for you[G. Clark]
the woman next door
grateful my parents gave a sister
a brother needs all the sisters he can get
but one mother is enough if he was born a fortunate son

and I am blessed that she has a husband
when she gets confused among her male relatives, fathers, and brothers for example
and all men in general, I don't do her any favors when she stops talking sense, she so digital me so analog
she don't need more stress today, what with the biopsy coming up
she is the princess with a pea under her mattress

But if he makes the vow with Kol Nidrei in mind—thus being openly insincere in his vow—the vow is in full force."
