I am the rage of indecision
whose gaping ineptitudes cloud my vision
leave me spoiled

paused in the middle
I spin
headless top popping

syrupy grin

I am the rage of innocence lost
flailing intermittent wailing
baby in the cross-hairs

flowers and butterflies
and rainbow gossamers

targeted regret

I am the rage of silence
fuming flaming aim misguided
stifling disruptive internal blast

twiddling tendency to
self guess

implode

I am the rage of temptation
hot-blooded sexual tension
mind numbed vexation
my spirit come undone

fuck me

I am the rage of completely inhibited
bound by my own
sense of what's right

tie me and gag me
tag me responsible
blame to the blameless

scream out in the night

I am the rage of my own self discipline
I can't count the times
I've pointed fingers at me

I am the rage of myself on the page
struggling roiling
temperature boiling

my lid of restraint about ready to pop

I am the rage of the picture of certainty
my colors all running
like tears they won't stop

I am the rage
quieted
by soft voice and smile

calmed for awhile

I am the rage
self consuming
piled high I smolder
in my own contempt

but sometimes we got to engage a little rage
to unclog the mind

privately
don't usually let it show

no one really need know that I do of course
sometimes get caught up in the emotion

the human syntax

the dropping of my avowals
the throwing off of my towel
