it's always been my adage
if there's cheese about one must eat it
and stolen cheese?
more's the better.
Eat
I'll kill the fatted pheasant
roast the suckling swine!
Oh no
on second thought
I'll kill them not
but invite them all to tea
and on some gentle cheese
we'll dine
we'll take our fill
I'll bring the whine!

maybe we should rather dine
on dough nut holes
and apple wine
instead of whole wheat crackers we
could munch on words we've weaved for free
