Cosmic Lover

Post by mousey1 » August 25th, 2008, 10:49 pm

You my smoke ring matched
vapour ephemeral
circle dispersed
this heart collapsed

enlight
in light
your beauty sings
perpetual night awakes
each strain strokes the ear
my delight

and if you change
drift away
open range to starlight
through the window view
I see you clear

touched
more than skin and suffering
depth enfolded
I so soft could smolder in
ignite

and lying separate
how close we come
behind the eyelids
flesh unbound, released beneath
each others cosmic covering

air, light, breath unites
a sigh of heaven there
then tumble back to earth
entangled sheets
alone once more

I hold you near
welcome each lovely tear
each sparkle diamond drop
release from years
as kisses taste
eyes, mouth, lasting memories

hard in me
I want you more
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

Oh really, Doreen! Thank God. I thought it might be drivel. You know how torn I am.

Thank you. I rest easy now. You liked it, you really liked it. Well, now I sound like Sally Fields...can't have that.

Always believe, Doreen. Always believe. There's hope around every corner. My luck it'll leap out and scare me to death!

"Take another little piece of my heart now, baby, (break a. .... "

I don't know why I thought of that song, well maybe because you are breaking my heart.

I enjoyed reading
thank you

Thanks, stillt. That that song leapt to mind is a compliment for sure I think.

I don't want to break nothing though...only want to mend...or suture any damage done. You know, good thoughts, good feelings, good love.

Thanks, Lrod, for dropping in to the Droppings and tipping your doffed hat, or doffing your tipped hat, and not the very least of which, reading with your hat at half mast! I appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem.

jimbo, as usual you offer a chuckle with your kindly spoken words. Merci. Or Mercy. Whichever you prefer. Thank you for reading and the amuse!
