Haystack or Mole Hill...all mountains to me

Lost at the bottom of the heap
the straw tussled with the needle
to make its point

but there was no point
only the dull ache of surrender
and some giddy laughter
from the rafters

HAY!

I said a Hay eh eh eh Yeah!
I said a Hay eh eh oh Yeah!

the smothering tempest
in the teapot mole
who shrewed herself badgerless
guacamolied unconscious fear
overriding indelicacy

amalgamations discontent
enlightened the traveler
as ragged muffins fancy flights
crash landed

within the wreckage
all baggage checks dismembered...

Oh the fucking carnage

Reeked that night.

"needless to say, you're not alone," the voice cleared itself of the cupcake not fully swallowed and continued, "despite the silence that has endured over the weeks since you snuck in on your mousey little feet and exposed your thinking of the time." damn cupcakes! hmmmm.. i could eat a dozen chocolates with sour cream frosting and die with a happy look encrusted with cupcake residue all over my parted, smiling lips.

you right, you write.

At each crash landing I still forge ahead
the rumpled mess that lead me to this
unmade bed of progress
requires smoothing, so indelicately
as some might say
I stomp the grapes and whine
seeps forth. Bottled it makes for
not a great drink
but it's mine, and squished from the
dead center has a palpable taste
albeit acquired. Swirl me round
on tip of tongue I burst
not in glory, as imagined
but in shambles. Spit forth
the lit match ignites the essence
and the puddled remains
lie there. Lets just walk away
pretend, leave the scene
evaporation's heady blend intoxicates.
I can then become cordial again
ready for new flight
and the inevitable end.

a bit of cordial
for the taste
mind you...
a sip for sup
purr away little
kitty just leave
the mouseyone
curled in everlasting
embrace with smiles
ricocheting in echoes
across the multiverse
nevermore a lone
woof, woof, woof...

mt prowls
his way with syllable and vowel
legendary
I'll gladly share
my cheese with thee
:)

I like to explore my cheezy side
it's got zing
and don't mind the mold
it's free!

hello, hello, mt
the wandering mouse
the country mouse
is back in
da house

*sweep sweep sweep the cobwebs away*

*settles in for a nap, a cat nap*

ooooh... let me count the months
it began with the March
then came the winds of April
soon to follow with a May?
bumped right off by a June, yes?
big! bang! pop! across the land
July just can't settle down...
ahhhhh.. the August times arrive
with the sleepy-eyed mouseyuno
quietly seeking those much treasured
little crumbs left behind by others unseen
a dream perhaps? or does it mean
mouseyone is back..? for some fun..?

howdy, howdy, howdy... plus two more
and they are all just for you... mousey 1

Well I can't stay away you know
this place my home
be it ever so humble
yes yes the walls they do crumble
but these digs I dig.

Yes, yes, my bags are unpacked
I shall not go quietly
for a time
and times again past.

Sometimes I cannot find voice
and silently sit
quiet often the best course
well charted.

But in the void know, that often
a wee mouse does listen.

And being that you're my first guest back
a spot of tea I offer
take a load off and together
we'll peace find amid the whisper of time.

Mint it is
in a strapping big glass
and iced to beat the heat.

Yes, Rob Thomas, I am tickled you liked that song. We shall sit and sip and hum along.
