I call this

Post by mousey1 » June 6th, 2006, 11:27 am

The mind is a terrible thing to waste I'll take mine stir fried and yours I'll scramble

the older I get
the blinder, deafer, dumber I get
'course I was never that bright
to begin with
I thought in starry-eyed
stops and starts
plodful
one foot in front of the other
until I'd stumble, plunge head over heel

sitting on my ass in the tall grass
I spied what I thought might be
a plan ready to hatch
I watched if for awhile -
waiting to get bored -
but I didn't, it did
scampered away and
never looked back
Ideas -
they're funny that way
here one minute
gone the next
flighty little bastards
next time I'll set a trap

a mind like a steel trap
the trouble with that is
it rusts
gets creaky, faulty
refuses to open
refuses to shut
until finally it just lays there
abandoned
or wanders off
looking for butterflies
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I stumbled and fell
And as I lay in the dust of regret and remorse
A butterfly landed on my nose
It grabbed hold and lifted me to my feet and senses.

Yes, I've never met a butterfly that I couldn't trust.
They're flighty but in a good way.

The only downside is that I stared so long at the tip of my nose that my eyes now look like this.

"Don't be concerned, it will not harm you
It's only me pursuing somethin' I'm not sure of
Across my dreams with nets of wonder
I chase the bright elusive butterfly of love"

Well, you get used to it after awhile and eye find it comes in rather handy for keeping tabs on the loose marbles rolling around in there

I might be French.

From a Restroom Wall:
"The Frenchman treats the text as a lonely man treats an inflatable doll. First, he reconstitutes it with his own hot air. Then he masturbates on it."

and eye find it
here hear
there their
no know
buy and by
I will how to howl
And sea the see
Let's sale to a sail
Four too meat the meet
to too pour to poor
It is the feet of the feat

I don't see this stuff before I write it. It comes to me in a silent voice. I make so many spelling mistakes because of it. I write what I hear not what I see scrolling across this text box. My brain is tilted. I write phonetically not textually I wish I knew more about html and font colors. This would be written in white fonts against a white background. I think it might read better that way.

"Do the noises in my head bother you?"

When you stir fry and egg it is scrambled.

fried crispy; holds together better then scrambled. I'm always scrambled so there would be no more to be done to me, except to burn me to a crisp. Sorry title got me.

Presently I am trying to unscramble my brain. It's easy to tell a story unless your tied to a schedule and can only use so many words. The brain doesn't work as fast as it used to. Think I need to spray some oil on my gears so their squeaking won't keep me up nights. Oh well guess I'll just sleep in. Sorry, I'm tired and getting rather silly. I'll stop now.

Ideas -

Words
silicon butterflys

that fly through cyber space

like lonely truckers

just passing through

Geez don't mind me deb I feel like

"static in the attic"

I am fried.

just chewing the cud mit da goils

I don't get the title deb.

I hardly got the poem

I just liked it a lot

I don't know j*ckshit about poetry you know that. I hear so much serious talk about a feminine voice I try to think that way when I post as DMG. Problem is I can't not totaly. Best I can do is be some kind of proto woman. they say all males start out as females in their mother's womb.

just say hi jack mousey
sorry for the ramble

a ramble's as good as a scramble
good for the brain
serve it raw
cook it on high
makes no never mind

You don't get the title?
That's probably the point
well...
just have it any way you like it
scrambled
fried
with rhubarb on the side
it makes no never mind

Thanks for reading yousy twosys
God never said anything had to make sense
Thank God for that
and small mercies
