Just shooting the breeze...or my own self in the foot!

Post by mousey1 » July 1st, 2006, 11:20 pm

mousey1 cometh from the shadows of night and smoldering cold...

uh, ya, right...

this is my favorite picture of me however

my true form

mottled mesmerizing twisted spinning me standing still but on the move

Image

anyway, this is my sticky stacky ticky tacky invite

- to read my poetryslashdroppings (I really cringe at calling it poetry*gag, gag, spew, spew*)

and...

- to check out any other piecey things I decide to deposit here.

I apologize for posting so much, you all must think me a windy one...so be it. Let it be said however that I am not really a talkative one I just love fiddling foodling squiggling and word doodling in my new mousey digs.

Thank-you everyone who takes the time to read.

volleying for fire
with the truth

My poetry
the eatings and the sleepings and the shittings
of my life
encapsulated in lines and sentencing

I also should say that I am Buttercupnutswirlz...lest there was any doubt.

She is my pseudonymph.

I only whip her out when I want to go incognito!

So mums the word eh? Mums the word!

I am nothing if not honest when given half the chance.

Buttercup might be a little high strung but bear with her she means well. She's the one who might slap you senseless should you get out of hand!

Heh heh! I'm not really crazy I assure you I just have a great deal of fun. That is when I'm not bleatingly sad.

Carry on! This was merely an impromptu update from the...

Well, Buttercup's got nice petals and I have a nice tail so what more can we ask...and we both write like the wind...very spacey!

You were wise to me eh? Well you know what they say...

you can't fool a fool! No, that's not it, sorry...you can't pull the wool over the eyes of a fool! There, that's better, I knew it was something like that! Or is it you can't pull a buttercup over the wool of a fool...well I best quit while I'm so far behind. Glad you dropped by.

it's nice to think that any comparison to mouse droppings ends at the plopping on the page... that they don't stink is the icing on the cake of my parade!

tap tap tap
the alphabet marches
forming significant markings
scratching out the this and thats
and within the winded text box
some memento
some piece of who we are
and what we are
and where we're at.

Mum is often the word.
The silent rap.

where ya been, girl?
curled up in tales & ambiguous textarities?
unfurled by wails and taunts and begs from charities?
wasshappenin', girlie?
i miss those pearly whites,
that smile of yours which makes us gleam!
you took a vacation, so it seems, eh?
glad to see yer mousey tail today!
what say ya? you been playin' out there somewhere?
speakin' yer pieces? chasin' down cheeses,
hidin' from the cat?
tell me wazzat? where ya been?
great to see you again!

Hi Doreen!

and thanks for askin'
I don't believe I've ever been asked what's shakin'
in such a fabulous fashion!

I have been a stranger around here indeed
guess I've just gone incommunicado...
self imposed. An overwhelming feeling that
I haven't much to say, or at least not much will
to plumb any depths worth sharing.

I was thinking how nice it would be to have a spot around here
where one could pop in, check in if you will, have a spot of virtual tea Image and just say howdy!
A coffee shop deal where one doesn't have to say anything important or even anything at all but just sit and smile for awhile. That's why I started my new thread in Mouse Droppings called The Dangling Conversation. A laidback zone for to slap a smiley or what have you. Sometimes/often I don't have anything to say so it would be nice just to smile in or whatever.
For the wannabe artiste who has lost muse and can't muster a General Discussion. The Dangling Conversation sounds so apropos.

Anyway...HELLO HELLO. :D
