Reciprocity

Post by mousey1 » July 16th, 2006, 2:08 pm

Reciprocity

you say po tate o I say po tat o
you say reciprocal I
throw you on the floor and ravish you

oh my good Lord
I made myself laugh with that one

reciprocity
the same
feel
the same
need
the same
touch
the same
love

do it with me
over and over again
even if it hurts
sometimes it has to hurt
playing hand ball
back and forth
across the miles
heart throbs
delicious smiles

reciprocity

a lovely word when engaged in
unequivocal
saying, noting, ever floating on equal notions
labouring together
climbing to the top of the hill to get a better view
side by side
two

I can't kiss you hold you fuck you know you
till you show me some
reciprocity

solely alone
ever alone
in the crowd
solely alone

reciprocate
equivocate
two words rolling around on the floor
twisting trysting
fucking each other's hearts out
reciprocal
equivocal
getting to the heart of the matter
voicing the need

under
standing
under

my mind is like a steel wheel
rolling over over over
hard headed

little girl
holding flower
is it really just a weed

I raise a glass
a sour milk toast
may it one day become
sweet
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

*Snort*

It is a snort indeed

life is just one great bit snort

and a rip roaring guffaw

and a few sniffly snivvellings in between

thanks for reading

Horny eh? Toot toot. Ya that reciprocity gets me every time too!

I love it when one of my pooms makes someone somewhere Snort! or chortle...chortling's good too...and guffaw...don't get me started on the guffawing!

I love a poem that makes me feel spontaneous

Spontaneous reactions that catch me off guard. Like a little mouse scurrying across my path
A snort, a laugh, a tear,
A moment's distraction,
a startle responce
Like playing peek a boo with myself

Thank you for writing
Reciprocity remends me of a Natalie Merchant song
There's nothing I want from you, nothing you can say or do
There is nothing I want for you to say anyway.
I will stop now
I probably said too much as it is.

Ah well, don't we all say too much too often anyway. I am a fan of spontaneous too, but I suppose it can get out of hand and one must rein it in lest it burst forth hurtfully.

Spontaneous has it's place. I think spontaneous is ruled more by the heart than by the brain. The brain has overruling rights...veto power! Sometimes one should listen to the heart. Sometimes one should listen to the brain. I often get the two confused so you can imagine the pickle I occasionally find myself in. The kettle of fish, the can of worms, the Pandora's box, the slippery slope...well, I expect you get the picture, the full scope...or not.

You have listened to Natalie! Isn't she great!

I'm glad I provide you with some much needed moment's distraction...I know what that's like. Life can be a bitch and then you die so keep on keepin' on until such time...grabbing for the gold amid the cold hard stone.

I first heard of her about two years ago, I was on the road going somewhere and only had time to listen to a couple songs, she was on TV I can't remember what channel. Then ST posted that link to this play list or maybe it was you.
Ophelia
My Skin
This House is On Fire
Motherland
I'm Not Gonna Beg
I May Know the Word

and on an on...
I been going down the play list.

thanks mousey, sometimes I think I have aspegers, horney was a poor choice of words. I wish I had said that I felt ravished by your poem.

To be ravished by a poem
quite a sensation I should imagine
words perhaps better than the real thang
but
I
doubt
it

words and rhymes can twist the mind
but only water gets me wet
well
may
be
I
jest
lied

if you keep forgetting like that you'll have to change your name to

stillsenile...nyuk nyuk nyuk :P
