practices zealously pursued pass into habits

I don't think I'm taken seriously
and it bothers me
from time
to time
if I let my mind
wander over it
my own damned fault
of course
laughter crowds my eyes
crinkles the skin
and I like a yawn
trying to get out
open wide

silly silent scream
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I have adjusted to my blindness
But if I could not hear that silent scream
Life would be hard
But I suppose I could learn sign language
Get a scholarship to Galudet.

You know it can be a blessing if no one takes you seriously.
Maybe that is why I like the Great Gatsby so much?

pardon ramble
but you know what makes me loose
nothing like a pretty pome.

thanks for posting.

I don't want to edit the post above
But I am not happy with my word choice above, yes a pretty pome, stark and dark, but you pass it off so lightly.

I let it out, my silly silent scream.
nicely done!

but what the heck do I know about poetry?
better keep your night job.

I don't romanticize it anymore, Gatsby that poor bastard.

Silence...an effective/affective piece of punctuation...definitive.

Thanks for reading.

When I get taken too seriously, it cracks me up.

The most successful comedians are depressives.

When I thought about becoming a humorist or a stand-up comic, it brought tears to my eyes.

I stay up late every night laughing about how sad I get.

Sometimes the silence is way too loud.

My greatest talent is pretending I have any talent at all.

Thanks for the poem.

You are most welcome dear Doreen.

I also think I understand what you mean quite well.

I just want to say though, that you are a very talented lady and never tell yourself otherwise. Please give yourself a gentle cuff on the back of the head for me whenever you start thinkin' you ain't.

I've seen you strut your stuff girl...you got it going on! 8)

As for me, I only want those who I want to take me seriously to take me seriously, I don't give much of a hang for all the rest...they can laugh the night blue! If you know what I mean.

Thanks so much for stopping in...always a pleasure to read you. :)

My attempts at humor are sad. :D

I should use more emoticons.

Life is a coincidence.

Death is irony.

I have no idea what I meant by anything. :?:

Thank you for understanding my lucid confusions. :)

These are the only lines I've written in months. :?

If I make you laugh, I've done my job.

If I make myself laugh, it's because something was funny. 8)

You're welcome and thank you too.

which is more silly?
the scream or not to scream?
the screamer or the dream?
the head of steam team, I got reams,
and reality's a crutch for incurious,
injustice of the peace injurious,
and fire is empirical, fast and lyrical,
its burned out shell, satirical,
so heave ho, take a blow,
spin a tornado in the snow,
and all the bitten tongues on death row,
missed their cue cards, missed the show.

good question, i think.

i may be a fool,
but i'm a rhymin' fool.

Hey, does anyone else love that?...

Lucid Confusions!

Absolutely!

My whole life a steady on roll of lucid confusions.

All of my poetry, lucid confusions.

Existance wrapped up in a bow of lucid confusions.

I would vote for that to be the title of the Studio8 book...

Lucid Confusions.

I tend to tackle life with a heavy dose of silly
silly is my rhapsodaisical phrasical twist and turn
on a dime
silly is the only way to face a day, see
pluck it's petals and make it squirm
silly is as silly does
as all the sane watch on
in their serious mismanagement
march to their sad refrains
while silly fools fool themselves into thinking
it will be alright
"tomorrow
tomorrow
I'll love ya tomorrow
it's only a" daisy away
and in the meantime in the
between time
we slip, slide and swoop
down the treacherous slope
of silly silent screams
nightmare dreams
and lucid
confusions
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I think I'll make myself my own artlog and call it Lucid Confusions. Maybe it will force me to write. At least with a name like that, it won't matter if it's any good or not.

lol

Yes, yes! Do, do! Doe, Doe!

Waste no time!

Make no delay!

Lucid confusions will not be held at bay

for long!

Do it now, make haste, no time to waste.

And no fair deleting it! Once there it needs be stay!

If you only knew how many times my itchy delete finger wanted to swoop down and delete things written here, parish them to the junk heap; but they're pieces of me and as such they must stay. No matter how potentially embarassing! :P

Lucid confusions...gee I wish I'd thought of that! Pure poetry! :)
