THE COLLAPSE OF AIG & OUR FINANCIAL MARKETS ... WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?

Hey Republican Friends: Speaking of the economy, how about that $40 BILLION bailout of AIG on the heels of bailing out Freddie, Fannie & Lehman Bros., and the collapse of Merrill Lynch ... putting the market in the toilet? You know that happened because the dude you want to vote for helped Phil Gramm push through legislation to remove the regulations on these businesses that had been put in place after the Great Depression to prevent such a collapse from happening again ... and now it has ... if it weren't for the government (i.e. taxpayers - you and I) bailing these businesses out ... this would be worse than 1929.
