Thank you, Cecil! You're a dear friend! ((hugs))

(Sorry, was editing my reply as you replied)

Yeah, a sense of humor is vital! Here's a joke my Mom told when she had a stroke almost exactly a year ago.

I said, "You'll get stronger, you'll get better!"

She replied, "Of course I will! We have longevity in our family! Just look at your Dad. If it wasn't for that awful disease he got when he was 69 which killed him, he'd be alive today!"

Hahahaha

yeah, those deadly diseases are a damned inconvenience

but to laugh at them, even for a moment, increases life force

love and hugs to you and you family. you could also pass some dear regards from this particular studio blood sister.

wishing your mom the very best and she should know that you, doreen, are a source of light for many around the globe.

Doreen, my heart goes out to you, sadly throbbing. Our Moms! Oh what, oh what, would we do without them. But it is coming, that dread day I suppose.

But not too soon, not too bloody soon! Knock wood and so we hope.

Give your Mom a hug for me. I too wish to thank her for your existence. She's done us all a lovely service. She'll never be forgot.

Chin up. Difficult times require caring friends. I only wish I could support you closer.

This aging thing, what a bummer, we all so light and lively inside spirit-wise and our old codger outsides and mortal coils letting us down.

Well, here's to the kid we harbor inside us, may he/she ever be young.
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse
