Well now it's getting boring. It's a beautiful day outside! Finally sunshine and not too cold... in the 50s. Let's go for a walk! Want to?

I didn't go for a walk after all. Nobody came over. That's OK. There's always tomorrow!

Tonight, I'm going to hopefully finish my garden painting and work on my city street painting. The city street painting is huge... 3 feet x 4 feet. Largest canvas I've ever painted.

What are you going to do?

Hey Doreen, I'm up for a walk with you, give a shout when you're ready. I'm just watching a movie, but had to pause it here for few, otherwise I'm not doing much either. We could go look at the graffiti at this old outside party spot, I keep wanting to go take some pics there or we can walk over to the park, or where-ever...I'm game.

Or we can stay in and we could paint together. I don't know nothing about painting, and I'll prolly mostly just watch you do your thing, but I could paint a huge happy sun, and a rainbow or something bright and cheery, laughing and girl talk, sounds good to me.

Sounds great! It's dark here now, so too late to walk, but come on over! I made some homemade pasta sauce... it has stewing beef, celery, vidalia onions, mushrooms, cilantro and italian tomatoes. It turned out great! And I'm boiling water for the linguini. I even think I've got a half of a bottle of a nice chianti here!

We'll eat pasta, hang out, drink wine, paint, and chatter away!

You don't know how perfect the rainbows and sun sounds, D! So I'll tell you....

I have a friend who's in the hospital. He has cancer. I saw him last week and brought him a card with rainbows on it. Inside, I wrote about how his rainbow was coming soon, after all the rain ..... I told him he was strong and was going to pull through and that I just knew his rainbow was coming! We could both paint rainbows and I could bring him the paintings when I visit next. :) :) :)

I'd love to help you paint a rainbow for him Doreen.
And look for me to be by tomorrow for leftovers of that pasta.
p.s.
I had such a fun night with ya there
we gotta get that kind of wine again soon and the candles, music...all was perfect.

Oh, oh, may I join in?

Late as usual
I finally dropped by
No one was answering
no face with a smile

I lingered at the door stop
scuffed my toe on your stoop
made mulings and mutterings
my spirit starting to droop

But I really can't blame you
I've not been here for awhile
maybe I'll just leave these dew drops
and one of my most winning smiles! :D

Oh, and this hardly visible rainbow I took at the end of last year
I hope it makes a repeat visit this year, for who can look at a rainbow without feeling better about everything.

Mousey and Doreen, our girl T time and I'm delighted to be there with you two. I'd like to get a card game going if we three can toss out some queens and kings and aces, I'm game, I'll be by at 7ish if it's not too late.

Love that rainbow!

Well, I'm not much on playing cards but if we make it more about the chatter and less about the win or lose you can deal me in!

We'll pop the cork on a Chardonnay and toast the rainbows. I wonder if they taste as good as marshmallows slow roasted.

Thank you for the rainbow, mousey! Please do excuse me as I am terribly delinquent!

Better late than never, they say,
a saying which fits me well...
because I'm late most every day
as far as I can tell.
When I arrive, the party's through
and all have disappeared!
Thank you, my friends, for being here!
One good thing about being late
is the dishes have already been cleared!

hahahaha... can't rhyme any more... I'm outa practice!

Girls Night IN! I love it!

Please let's do this more often.

Dame, Mousey, & Dori .... anybody else want to join IN?

You ladies are having too much fun! Enjoy it and each other.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
