Walking backwards

Post by Doreen Peri » May 27th, 2010, 8:17 am

I have a theory that if you walk backwards for a half and hour every day, it will reverse time.

If my theory works, I'll never have to explain to you how I came up with this theory because this post never will have been posted.

I like this, Doreen.
I'm all for time reversal and let's go get some more of it.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

Thanks, Dame!

Today's space-time continuum experiment - It's my theory that if you spend more time in the dark than in the light, since light travels so fast, you can reverse time. Sleep during the day, stay up all night, and test it out. If you do this all the time, it will be last year before you know it. Better yet, move somewhere where it's dark all the time.

I'm also working on some space-time continuum experiments for time travel into the future! Stay tuned!

(Had you already tried those particular experiments, it's quite possible you would have already read them here before I posted them tomorrow or the next day)

;)

When preparing to walk backwards, I put my shoes on backwards. The heels are where the toes are supposed to be. This gives me greater leverage.

It does nothing for the facial wrinkles, though, I assure you.

Any day now I expect
this thread will disappear
in a puff of logic

a miracle I can still walk forward

You have ESP, Jack.

I was looking at this forum yesterday and decided I'm going to delete everything that's not poetry or responses to the poetry.

I would not mind at all if my Sunset Blvd crack disappeared.

There is a book called The Year of Magical Thinking Joan Didion I think. I know the feeling. Funny how men and women have different concerns with age. For me it is my fading strength that haunts me not my fading beauty.

You are beautiful
I think those wrinkles make a woman's face more interesting.

Jack, I am conducting space-time continuum experiments because it's something the world needs to know about.

It really has nothing to do with aging. Nothing at all.

As a matter of fact, in the year 2075, Einstein requested my assistance and the thing that enabled him to do so was the fact that I conducted the experiments at his request which allowed me to meet him quite a few years after I'd died.

This is very important research.

:)

(also, I do thank you for the kind compliment ;))

I can't believe it, I was searching the archives at the Princeton Institute for Advance Studies and found this old photo.
