What a week!

Post by Doreen Peri » December 14th, 2010, 12:34 am

Monday's the day I go berserk
Tuesday's the day I look for work
Wednesday's the day I meditate
Thursday's the day I try to create
Friday, again, I try to find work
Saturday's the day I go berserk
Sunday's the day I physically train
Monday I start it all over again

Snow's coming. I need carbohydrates. Are those 2 things connected? No.

One of the main reasons I just went out in this frigid weather was to buy bread. I put the bread in the cart along with other things including firewood, a cooked whole chicken, some fresh spinach, and some hot chocolate.

I got home, unloaded the car and no bread.

They took my bread to buy the bread it's on the receipt. But it's not in my house.

What a complainer I am, huh? Welcome to Wednesday.

And I can't find the receipt.

I need as assistant. Someone to help me stay organized. Someone to keep track of me when I don't know where I'm going. Someone to help me bring in some bread. I'm broke, unemployed, but I'm sure glad I have a roof over my head! Gawd it's frigid out there!... It's like the Arctic, but without the snow but that's coming... later tonight.

I figured I'd bring them back the receipt tomorrow and tell them I never got my bread and they'd give me a loaf of bread to replace it but I don't have the receipt so I guess I'll have to buy another loaf of bread.

Just think. If you lost a loaf of bread every week, that would really add up. Each loaf of bread cost like almost $3 these days. And if you lost $3 a week, by the end of a couple of years, you could have paid for a trip to Aruba.

Food for thought. But not carbohydrates.

Ever try to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without bread?

Doreen, Hope you found your bread, or got yourself some more...
Sounds like "Murphy's Law" working overtime, ie. "What might happen, will happen". We got an inch of snow and then an ice storm, but it melted in one day, pretty much...I guess the cold weather is here to stay for awhile...Well, it is the middle of December...God Bless us every one.
