Some know me as Buzz, some know me as Toe
The following's my story, which a few of you know,
I was born on a mountain top in Tennessee,
"Whoops..that's Davey Crockett...not me.

I'm a mild mannered guy now,
But haven't always been,
Wish I could live my life over,
(Do things differently then).

I've sung with Paul McCartney
Been drunk with Sam the Sham
Traveled the country over
With the Allman Brothers Band.

Brought life into the world, and made some life leave
Word's can't expess what that's done to me.
I took a man's life in Georgia state,
It broke my heart but prevented a rape.

I've had many surgeries
Been cut-probed and sliced
A few were from doctors
Other's not quite nice.

My best friend's my son
To be champion his goal
Fights UFC
He's the second "Toe"

My daughter is gorgeous
She's a bundle of fun
Starting college this summer
Wish she was a nun

I'm older and wiser
Just watching time fly
Spend my days waiting
To lay down and die

The "Dogs"....male...Neopolitan Mastiff...46 weeks old...160 lbs...playing
pool with my son...click on videos below...........

Hell yea I'm old, actually it was much later when I met Mr Samudio, Ry Cooder's an old pal of mine and he and Sam were putting a sound track together for a movie back in 1980 or 1981, think it was "The Border" or "A Border" or "Border" or something, I understand he's pretty spiritual now and doing gospel/gospel rock type stuff........and keep you away from my daughter?....Hell, I'm too old to do that...(though I think I could probably still kick your ass)..but, my son takes up my slack now....(it's people like him that Babe Ruth baseball bats were really made for)......How ya been ya old fart?

you live in cotton fields
must be the lowlands
spent a summer in Mississippi
used to head fer th hills
Alabammy is sweet
from Mobile up thru Montgomery and Birmingham
drove up froom St Pete
thru Tallahassee thru Dothan and Troy
found the civil rights memorial in Montgomery
and read the names of remembered fallen heroes
Maya Lin the same architect of the Vietnam memorial wall
(where my unknown soldiers memories became known)
like a mighty stream it flows
also the dude who wrote The Celestine Proph·e·cies
inspired by green rolling hills and surprisiing open country
and up near Chattanooga, Tennessee
up into cloud ridden mountains lost in the fog
looking for a hanggliding haven mountain traffic jam
just my karma came down again thru Georgia
into flamingo fantasyland where i remained
mid-life criisiis over another job
got married obeyed the law
just a memory of green
alabammy
sweet home
