listening to the sift of time

time sleeps in the cracks
of cool stone and rock
eternal arteries
dark down below
warm is my wandering
my pulse sings symphonies
i walk the sands and
drip with sunshine

where is my dowser
i smell water
the prodigal daughter
browsing
perusing
musĀ·ing muse
on the loose
lucky to be safe
wandering afar
wants to breathe peace
where distant clouds stir
memories of torment, torture, travail
and goes through the veil
and sees a mirage
a wishing well
to turn the desert green
an oasis
a noontime dream

I always liked this one...
and time does sleep in the cracks of cool stone and rock.
