California! Ocean photos

Gawd, the California coast is beautiful! I went to the left coast about a half an hour from San Francisco. Here are some ocean photos. I have so many, it's nuts! I also have photos of the city, the marine reserve, and a couple of other places I want to share. For now, enjoy coming there with me through these, OK?

I can watch the sunrise over Tampa Bay in the morning
then ten miles west can watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico
I camped and hiked the Oregon coast for two weeks in Sept 1979
yes sand and sweet Pacific waves for miloes then
climb vine covered cliffs, walk along picking blackberries
until the beach opens up, descend once again into soft sandy coves
thanks for sharing!!

Damn Jimbo I hadn't thought about the pan handle. I see I see said the blind duck.
I was sitting on the beach in Duck N.C. one morning just before dawn when I saw the sun though the ocean water before it actually crested the horizon. A once in a life time event. Have not seen that since. The ocean was calm and conditions were good.
Even though my water is land-locked I still see a good sun.
