jane's a rogue she is
legendary
she can do the double cut-out
and call you in the morning
like you should've known better
what can one do with a woman like that
she's unpredictable
she confounds me
she talks like she's playing chess -
for money, even
her smile has an asterisk
a subtext so self-serving
you don't have to ask for directions
all roads lead to rome
took her out to dinner
been saving up for weeks
i'm a very serious man
she goes to the ladies room
i look nervously at my watch
go jane pulls a bye bye
off to the colosseum -
the thracian again
what can one do with a woman like that
god have mercy on my soul
jane's back
