moribund adventures

This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

moribund adventures

Post by constantine » August 17th, 2008, 12:55 am

ah, it's you again
glad you could drop by
so much has happened since...
now where was I? oh yes
as i sit by the window drinking my coffee
smoking a kool mild, which I might add
is neither cool nor mild,
one is inclined to consider
the clouds as they drift
past my insulated environ,
the forces that create this phenomenon
and other corresponding phenomena
too numerous to include at this time,
this is not to say that they are not
of equal importance or significance, which
I assure you, they are
but only that my considerable powers
of observation/interpretation/extrapolation
should not be diffused in idle, though
nonetheless at times profitable,
divertissements.
having made my point and
setting the matter straight as they say
let us continue with this, albeit
one-sided conversation
(due to the nature of the medium this is both
unfortunate and unavoidable)
my musings I make privy to you,
not because I like you, which is
problematic, but rather because
my voice is quite melodious, as you
most assuredly would agree if we
have the pleasure of meeting
sometime in the future.
ah, the future
shall we ponder that vast expanse?
no?
maybe next time
